Game: 26 : MSU 75 @ Michigan 62 Final

Free throw misses . Not winning many games shooting 11-18 from the charity stripe.

killed on the glass . MSU has the win . They hit more threes than we did. 14 offense rebounds and that is that.

Outside of that 5 minute span in the first half that um went on a 15-0 run, this game was a surprising beat down.

If MSU is going to hit more threes than their opponent they will be a tough out in the ncaa tournament. Michigan’s issue is still at point guard.

If Tre is way off Um is in a tad of Trouble as he averages 12.7 a game and only had 3 points on 1/5 shooting. May has been trying to find other guys but they just are not there. Also Richardson averages 10.7 a game and had a game high 21 on 7/12 shooting.

Richardson has averaged 17.2 since being put in the starting lineup 5 games ago. He's the best player on the team.

He is really a nice player. Hopefully his hot streak continues in the ncaa so there is no early exits, and maybe a damn big ten team can win that tournament. The issue with msu is going to be three point shooting in the tournament. My guess is over the weekend May will be screaming about rebounding. Hopefully in East Lansing they can cut down in second chances points, and keep it closer.. After a bad game at Purdue Tre bounce back next game. Hopefully they show up at Nebraska. Hollman’s 3 threes in a row in 1:27 put the game away. Hopefully for UM that doesn’t happen again.

I actually think at Nebraska will be tough for Michigan because it’s a fast turnaround on Monday. Hope I’m wrong.

lol
MSU picked this game to hit their 3’s . Figures 8 to um 5.
With 10 minutes left. Defense rebounding is kill us.
I'd think UM read the scouting report too and tried to take away the interior. You can't defend the entire court.

Not just that, he's doing it on very few shots. he's a crazy efficient scorer, 21pts on 12 shots. for the year 58/38/86

Certainly not anymore, with players launching fade-away threes from Benzie County. (hyperbole intended).

well we're 23 in adjusted O on Kenpom, we score points regardless of where they come from. It would be nice to be better from 3 but the offense is pretty efficient either way.

I've always been an admirer of MSU basketball back to the days of Mike Robinson, who would have loved the three-point line.
