Awful no call on those holds. Just downright awful

Detroit is just the team that never makes the play when its needed. Whitehead cant cover andre johnson. Cant get a stop on a 3rd and 11 to get your offense the ball back. back to back losses for the kittens.

Need to get Stafford a defense, then maybe this team will be good. Add some depth while we're at it. I'm all in on a complete rebuild of the defense. Dump Levy, lick our wounds and dump newly signed Whitehead, dump Quinn, dump Ngata.

27 points verses Packers on the road.
15 at home verses the shitty titans.

This team is beyond irritating.

Can't watch the game where I live. At least they came back in the second half.

For the Lions to lose starters, and best players, hurts them more than packers and probably most other teams with lack of depth.

It's understandable to blame Quinn, but Quinn did what he could before the season started. All these years, what's another 2/3or4 to see how he shapes the team. Head scratcher for Austin to have a linebacker cover packers WR.

There are varied reports on Abdullah. One says he is done for the year, another says he could be back after the off week (week 10?). Ansah will be out one more week.

Matthew Stafford has passed former Lions QB Bobby Layne for No. 62 on the NFL's all-time passing yards list. He is currently at 26,829 yards. Layne threw for 26,768 yards in his career and was the career leading passer when he retired.

Per ESPN Stats & Info, Lions CB Nevin Lawson's 66-yard pass interference penalty is the longest in the league since at least 2001. He was flagged for this in the first half of Sunday's Lions-Packers game.

Kerry Hyder with another sack for the Lions. Third straight week with at least one sack for him. One of the few bright spots for Detroit in an otherwise atrocious first half that saw a shredded defense and an inconsistent offense as the Packers lead, 31-10.

Marvin Jones is having a career day for the Lions. He has six catches for 205 receiving yards -- a career-high -- and two touchdowns. His touchdowns were 73 yards and 35 yards.

Marvin Jones is the second Lions player to have a game with at least 200 receiving yards and multiple touchdown receptions in the Super Bowl era. The other is Calvin Johnson. Jones' has the most receiving yards by a Lions player not named Calvin Johnson since Richard Johnson had 248 against the Saints in 1989.

Detroit found some offensive life -- including a clear No. 1 receiver in Marvin Jones -- but the Lions have to be concerned about their defense in a 34-27 loss to the Packers. Aaron Rodgers shredded the Lions throughout the first half and Eddie Lacy ran through them in the second. Injuries hurt, but the trajectory of the defense has to be a concern for Detroit.

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford threw the 168th touchdown of his career in the third quarter, matching Hall of Famer Johnny Unitas for the fifth most all time in a player's first 100 games.
Stafford still has another four more games before he reaches 100 games. Next up on the list is Peyton Manning with 178.

Stafford finished 28 of 41 passing for 385 yards and three touchdowns for the Lions.

Stafford's second-quarter TD pass to Anquan Boldin was his 14th score at Lambeau, the most ever by an opposing QB. (Stafford was later add a 15th.) Fran Tarkenton, the former Minnesota Viking had 13.

Stafford made his 83rd straight start. The next closest Lions QB is Greg Landry with 42.

Detroit's short-handed defense lost another starter early when strong safety Tavon Wilson left the game with a neck injury. He was replaced by Rafael Bush.

The one thing I learned from this, injuries shouldn't be an excuse. The Packers had more injuries than Detroit. Their defense is like a HS defense..

Rogers postgame: "We let em win here last year, hope we started another streak today"

Packers holding all day. True lions win. Good comeback attempt. Lions 5-4 start and 6-1 finish

11-5
