Game 30 Tigers @ A's 5-7-2017

I've seen it since spring training he wasn't any good anymore can't understand why the brain trust couldn't

Tigers never seem to be able to put a pen togther sadly. So frustrating.

This team will be dead at the end of this road trip.
I will be surprised if they win more than 2 games, 2 and 7.

Dumb fuck Ausmus just now decides to get someone up in the bullpen.
Norris' 4th inning.

Bump.
Fuck you Brad, you clueless pos. Fuck you Al Avila package these two shit for brains and the player development, and draft guru imbeciles they have who draft cluelessly year after year, to Greenland.
Brad the fuckhead will continue to use Hit-rod as the closer with these words;
"eventually, he will be the old K-rod we know he can be",

Brad just gargle with cement you fucking hack excuse as a manager.

When the sell off starts in June it'll be these last two game we look back at and think what could have been

Hopefully now that we have a little younger starting pitching depth we'll continue to convert some of them to relievers. Labourt seems to really be taking to the pen this year. I'd much rather develop our own finally rather than over pay for guys in their twilight years.

I get the point, but your conclusions are unrealistic.

Our closer is 7/12. Average closers are 80% or 10/12. Really good and elite closers would be 11/12 or even 12/12. We did win one of those blown saves though, so he's only cost us 4 wins.

Shit like this is what kills a team, their collective confidence and then tune Brad out because he won't change and doesn't want to hurt anyone's ego (Hit-rod).
like I said earlier, to start a road trip like this, is a killer.

This road trip with the starting matchup had 6-3 at least 5-4 on it. I can now see 1-8!

Guys, I'm gonna look at the positive side of this. If this happened at game # 70 we'd all be saying the same things, but the season would likely be a lost cause by then. The good news is this has happened at game # 30 and there's plenty of time left. Plenty of time to let Justin Wilson get used to the closer role. Plenty of time for Joe Jimenez to be the dependable eighth inning shut-down guy. Plenty of time for JD Martinez to find his stroke getting back into the lineup.

Frankie is done as the closer. Maybe Brad's smarter than we think by marching KRod out there to fail so spectacularly twice in a row, providing himself all the air cover he needs to make sweeping changes.

At least I hope so.

Tigers only finished a few games out of the playoffs last season . While I agree with you somewhat every game matters weather it's April or September. We should be closer to 20 wins and not 15 right now. Of could and probably will matter by seasons end sadly.

One of the writers for BYBTB responded to my twitter rant and said Keep Ausmus. The rest? Sure.

My response; If in a perfect Tigers' World, If we did have a complete change in front office, the new GM would want his own manager anyways.

Small problem, Joe Jimenez, back could be a problem now.

There an old saying you do not win the series in April, but you can lose it in April. Lets face it too many games have gotten away!

Day off Monday, they have to make the decision to change Closers and bring up a reliever like Leon.

That's two pitchers who are basically useless, Sanchez and Hit-rod.
amounts to a 23 man roster.
