Game 32 Tigers vs. Angels May 7, 2019

They showed miggy in the dugout earlier and I thought he looked pissed let’s see if that translates into a good at bat to lead off the bottom of the forth

Nope pretty pathetic really, too bad he missed that first 81 mph off speed pitch it would have went a long way if he had connected, then he was late on 93 again, timing just isn’t there.

Tigers go down easy peasy 1-2-3 in the 4th

I wouldn't mind the heck of power if he could be a gap hitter and hit some freakin' doubles.

Oh hum 1-2-3 5th should really be a no hitter through 5 that hit in the first should have been an error

Is brad happy with his hitting coach can we sent Lloyd home with him?

Some actual excitement for the 500 fans in attendance and the four of us watching at home

Norris gives Tigers a chance; bats stay quiet.
Manager Gardenhire leaves with allergic reaction, not expected to miss Wednesday's game.

Angels 5, Tigers 2: Brad Ausmus victorious in return to Detroit.
The Halos? bats and solid pitching quelled the hapless Tigers in the series opener.

Locked On Tigers May 8th, 2019. 20 minutes.

Episode Info:
Early mentions of vomit and allergies lead into Chris breaking down Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Angels, followed by a quick look at Wednesday's pitching matchup, then some thoughts on Miguel Cabrera and the concept of lineup protection, and finally a couple of questions about Tigers minor leaguers Eliezer Alfonzo and Jake Robson. Holly and Kurt tell it like it is, unlike the Detroit media writers for the Detnews, Freep, and Mlive.

I don't think I have read anything that Kurt wrote. I'm sure you posted several of his articles in your Detroit Tigers Team Notes thread. I don't always have time to read them all. I usually look at the title and see if it's something that I might be interested in. There are a LOT of articles there! ;)

Too bad that the first pitch of the game was not directed to the Angels' dugout at Ausmus's chest. #JK

seems things are all going sour on Miggy, I agree with pretty much everything this article said and it saddens me.

I just hope that he hasn't been cheating with any ped's, like manny sammy mcgwire etc. that would really be the clincher for me.

Yeah if that happens just remove that HOF thread for me.

looking forward to better days ahead
