Game 4: Lions @ Vikings Thread

Tavon Wilson had a picture perfect helmet to ball on that cook fumble. It was forced not luck. They actually track non forced fumbles.

Stafford had picture perfect throws right to the defense that were dropped 3 times. You don't call that luck? What the fuck is wrong with you?

Not every bad pass is picked. Killebrew dropped an int on Vikings only td drive

Right. And a normal person completely acknowledges that. And during the game thread we all acknowledged that killabrew is a fucking idiot brick hands for dropping that interception. Just like a normal person acknowledges Stafford had a bad day, the defense played well and SOME of their turnovers have been gifts aka untouched torn acl makes cook grab for his knee instead of protecting the ball. These are all things normal people can see and understand. We all understand you aren't normal which is why i don't understand why people even argue anymore.

Cook was touched. Fumble was forced
Stafford was solid. Lots of good important plays. Bad plays due to pressure and wr issues more than bad throws

No luck involved. Earned lions win

When a RB blows out his knee without being touched and exposes the ball because he is in so much pain and fumbles, that is luck. Now good for the lions to be aware and recover the fumble, but you can't count on that happening again.

Sometimes you get lucky. However, anything Glover Quinn does I refuse to believe is luck.

Lol. I agree with that 100%. That guy is always in the right spot.

Don't be such a douchbag. Wilson had a good hit but in no way shape or form would he have caused a fumble if Cook hadn't blown out his knee. This is why nobody likes you......you can't admit the obvious that is right in front of you.

Where did you get the hurried stat from?

I heard it on the radio, so I can't 100% confirm the validity, they didn't name a source. But this information here shows that the Lions were pretty sub par through four weeks in pass protection. They don't have data for just week 4, only the composite.

hurried just means you couldnt beat the blitz fast enough.

I believe a sack means you didn't beat the blitz.

Wilson caused the fumble. Not the knee. He fumbles regardless of injury

I don't have a issue with saying the knee and the helmet on ball caused the fumble but if you think Matt shouldn't have had at least 2 picks that is crazy. It does not matter the pressure both of those passes should not have been thrown and we are lucky they were dropped just like the Vikings were lucky in Killebrew's drop. Sometimes you get lucky. Heavens knows lions football fans deserve some luck. Just admit Matt had a subpar game and the defense and turnovers won this game . Time to move on to the Panthers and hopefully we can get the offense going !!!!!

Tavon caused it. He never fumbles if Tavon doesn't hit him perfectly

If he doesnt stop running, bend down to grab his knee.....he absolutely....100% trucks Wilson and takes him for a ride like 3-5 more yards. Guaranteed.

Matt did well considering the pressure and WRs. A few bad throws do not make a bad game. He made a lot of plays too that is somehow being ignored by Lions fans.

Wilson pops the ball out regardless. It may have been popped right into Ngatas hands and he rumbles for the touchdown

Not sure that Wilson touches him if he doesn't lock up with a knee injury.

A few bad throws? 4 should be picks is not doing well. Poorest Stafford game I've seen in awhile. Just never got going. We won though;)

Pressure galore and WRs not getting open. Stafford made a ton of good throws and avoided pressure. The poor offense was due to good Vikings defense and poor Oline and WR play

We won because of Stafford and Abdullah and defense
