JB with another worthless at bat. Doesn't even try to hit behind runner.

Sigh another runner stranded at third with 1 out. Greene gets a shot.

JB is an ego without a lot of brain matter attached. Has anyone seen any sign of him actually addressing his poor hitting in any practical manner?

He seems to be completely emotionless about everything. Batting ~.200 for the 3rd straight year for the tigers, you would think that person would be at least somewhat frustrated. Not him, goin 0-4 day after day is what he does, & he seems to know that and accept it.

Could have said if Vierling would hit it the other way, same thing. Cost us a run.
No doubt. Btw broadcast acted
Like he scorched the ball. It was a soft liner to 3rd and easy catch by 3rd baseman. He failed also. That is what this lineup does a lot of the season. They fail. They don't manufacture runs very good. They don't move runners over. They don't get runners in from third. It is frustrating. Maybe next inning. It's just so maddening to watch.

He was .395 in 42 at bats with RISP. The wild pitch messed him up I think..
Take a look at his performance with a runner on first this year (before today). 35 plate appearances, 4 singles, 10 strikeouts, 8 gidp. His risp numbers are unfortunately an extremely small sample size, given our current offense.

Urshela gets runner in from 3rd with 1 out. Sac Fly!
Great slide.

Not saying he's some stud, and 46 at bats at this stage is not small sample, just putting it out there.

Perez had to dive over that bat, lol.

I'd really like to see how many of those hits helped the team win?
Maybe a bunch did idk. But AJ refuses to move JB back up in the lineup for a reason.
