Get Startedyes...it was a win. I was making fun of LKP's assessment that it was a big win.
AP is holding this offense back. Kerryon is a better version of him at this point in his career. How coaches can't see that is fucking amazing.
Was a big win. One win closer to super bowl run..
:lmao:
Was a big win. One win closer to super bowl run..gave themselves a chance
I Now gather that you agree with me that the only objective for the Lions and for any NFL team each season is to win the Super Bowl?

I think every team has different goals. I think a team/franchise as pathetic as the Lions have been, their main goal would be to make the playoffs. Good teams (perennial playoff contenders) have higher goals such as winning the SB.
We get you hate the Lions and you have bias against them. Try a new schtick
There are many ways for success. Ultimate of course for any team is to win Super Bowl. but you can have good seasons without that.
Still early but looks like a tough road to the playoffs right now. Not enough parity in the NFC this year, I could definitely see both wild card spots coming out of the NFC West.
Yes there are 3 wild card teams. only top seed gets a bye.
Detroit needs to take care of business. they have the head to head over Cardinals. Could get it over Bucs still and tie up the Bears and/or Packers in game 2 rematches (Bears or Packers would need another division loss though and Pack/Bears happen twice).
Lions can take out the Panthers themselves. So its Lions/Packers/Bears/Saints/Bucs/NFC West. NFC East won't be a wild card factor. Three of those teams get division winners. So it leaves 5 teams plus Lions for 3 spots. Lions are very much back in this race. Seattle losing to Arizona hurt though. Rams/Bears game can go either way. Bears starting to lose playing Rams, Saints, Titans upcoming is a good thing though. Puts them at 4 losses really quick with a game to play the Lions and two against the Packers.
