His defense is like a JBC offense. It?s to easy to read. 70% man is fine if you can

1. Disguise it well
2. Rush the passer.
3. Get the matchups YOU want.

We don?t defend the crossing routes we?ll at all......partially because the WR have 4-5 seconds for them to develop.

It is NOT a recipe for success.
 
One pressure on Kirk Cousins. One. That is just not acceptable

Dalvin Cook is really good but the run defense needs to figure something out. Damon Harrison and Flowers get paid then fall apart.

Tavai needs to grow. Davis and Jones need to pick it up or be replaced

Wasted a 30 point day against the Vikings defense

9-6-1 could get you in most years as it's better than all the 9-7 teams with no tiebreaker needed. But maybe not given Vikings, Seattle, Rams and Carolina records right now.

But the backs are against the wall now after the Vikings home loss and Cardinals tie.

The favorable part of the schedule is here.

Giants, at Raiders, at Bears, Cowboys, at Redskins, Bears. Given Bears offense and Cowboys at Ford Field showing signs of being able to beat.

at Vikings, Bucs, at Broncos, Packers. 2-2 or 3-1

Lions got to prove they can do it and right now it doesn't look like they can with this defense.

Lions never get on the same page offensively or defensively. It is one or the other, never both and that is their probelm

rush 3 with 300+ lbs lineman and trail crossing routes by 6-8 yards?

Blitz an occasional LB that gets handedly picked up by a back or TE.

Darnold just throws it to the guy that Davis covers the entire game?

or simply...run the ball.
 
We would get a pick 6 to start the game then get destroyed by 31 lol ! Man the coaches change all the time at New England but Bill, Josh, Tom, and Arnie All stay. Kraft?s seem to be great football owners too.

Those YouTube pieces about the Pats called ?Do your job? are amazing footage of the inside workings of the Patriots. I root for them a lot because of Tom but man what a organization. One day Lions verses Patriots In the super bowl !

How they reinvent themselves on the fly is just amazing.

I know you can never be confident as a Lions fan...but there's zero chance we lose at home to the Giants right?

Also Evan Engram. We'll drop 7 into coverage like we love to do and give Daniel Jones an eternity to throw. Because why put pressure on a rookie QB. That would be rude.
