Tigers vs. Indians Preview: Detroit looks to avoid sweep with Matthew Boyd on the mound.
Boyd himself is hoping for a bounce-back outing after struggling in Cincinnati.
BYBTB

well...at least the Indians are throwing a scrub pitcher out there. Maybe the Tigers can avoid being swept

Boyd doing his best to stay in Detroit.

Final line

3 IP, 79 pitches, 8 hits, 2 BB, 5 K, 6ER

got 2 back in the top of the 4th but gave them right back on a 2 run HR by Lindor in the bottom of the inning.

the sweep should convince any delusional fans who thought the Tigers actually had a chance to compete for the division this season, that it was over before it started. Let's hope that the front office can make some shrewd moves prior to the trade deadline and continue to replenish the farm system.

The tigers have returned to being who we thought they were
..goose is dead and they are no longer exciting again.

Tiger bats really making Cleveland’s pen work hard, one easy out after another

That might have been the worst at bat from nick I’ve ever seen, three pitches in the dirt three swings and misses good lord the tigers have checked out

List of more exciting things to do during a weekend than watch the tigers in no particular order

Mow lawn
Pull weeds
Weed wack
Take nap
Trim trees
Jog
Take nap
Hose bird shit off the siding
Blow a bunch of money losing on lottery games
Listen to music
Drink some beer
Take another nap

How bout the rest of ya?

Kipnis homers 8-2.

7 homers by the Indians in this series vs Tigers zero.

After this road drubbing and sweep, Tigers return home to play the A's in 4, where they "should" get a split, at least.

Tomorrow Zimmerman vs ex-Tiger EJax.

LOL

Good god this avila team blows

Prolly go run another five then get some ice cream

Grand Slam...lol.

12-2, and the Tribe sends a message that the Tigers are their bitches again this year.
