A solid running game and a great defense is a great recipe for success. But I will say this Lombardi needs to open up the playbook quicker. Plenty of time for the run game in the second half of games if you are up by a bunch.

Miami is not a bad team, but I still think Detroit was more than 4 points better. But hell I will take the win and run.

great drive Stafford. great job defense. Lombardi needs to clean his shit up....that was uninspired coming off 2 weeks to prepare.

We have the single worst screen game in the NFL.....I have no stats on that.....it just seems every time we run one they are so poorly designed.

Awful 2nd and long calls. delayed draws.......bad screens.....2nd and 10 always seems to become 3rd and 15 or 3rd and 11.

Our O-Line, minus Warford mind you, did pretty damn good. I was terrified of their pass rush coming into this game.

Tate - 11 catches 109 yards = 66 catches 909 yards on the season

And the D only gave up 236 yards.

That was a fun game to watch. I kind of expected low scoring seeing as it was the top 2 defenses in the league, and moreso since our offense hadn't been that good most of the year.

The defense definitely carried us, but the offense did it's job. 10 points in each half was enough. I could have done without the extra drama (giving up and retaking the lead late in the 4th), but that's football for you. The stars generally played like stars, and both teams lost a bit to injury. Good game between good teams.
