Game 9: Dolphins @ Lions Thread

How about Van Noy making a TD saving tackle on the Landry return. Swanson did a good job. Reid ok. Rookies contributing.

Sign me up.

I can honestly, for the first time in my 36 years (besides '91), say that the Lions have a good chance in both games against 2 of the NFL's top 5 teams.

Arizona has holes in their D......especially the secondary. But they are really good against the run and have an offense that is getting better.

NE.......probably the best team in the NFL. I would LOVE this game to get flexed. Can you imagine an 8-2 Lions team against an 8-2 (if the beat Indy) NE team lead by Tom Brady.....on Sunday night???

I am pretty sure Miami hardly had any yards at halftime.. We have to learn how to freaking stick daggers into teams..

The miracle pick was under thrown ball.. But it was a stupid play call anyway...
That was the right call by Stafford. Calvin was open. sometimes the defensive players make great plays. Against most dbs that is 6, Grimes is playing out of his mind right now. the refs kept this game close and that was unfortunate.

Well, 7 of Miami's points came from a blocked FG. I know they didn't score on it, but it was run back inside the 5 and set up a fairly simple touchdown.

Still no excuse for the offense between the CJ touchdown and the Riddick touchdown.

Was nice to seem him have an ok game. He's been pretty sub par this season after a solid preseason. If he turned into another SLH type guy it would lessen the blow after this season if we lose Suh and/or Fairley.

After the game we know as much as we did before.

Defense is really good. CJ is a beast. Tate is damn good. Stafford is average. Online continues to improve. TEs are non existent.

Staffords balls officially dropped, that a boy. So much shit talked by this guy in the final minutes by this guy. Eat a dick Dee Jones.

Damn it CJ.......come back to the ball......need that TD in fantasy!!!

Megatron sucks.

I am starting to think Stafford is just trying to pad his 4th quarter comeback stats.

Final thoughts, shut it hughes, mitch, and myself, Stafford is our guy. No more questions, Stafford is our guy.

I'd really like for there to be another 0-16 team but I'm really enjoying watching the Broncos lose to the Raiders.

Best part about next week...no CBS announcers.

I would hate for it to be flexed...makes for an even shorter week before Thanksgiving.

was nice to see tate have a huge 2nd half. after 15 yards in the first half I was like wtf....

I said it 3 weeks ago....by all means keep winning like this. I still don't think its typical or sustainable that you want your offense to suck all game then pull out a win at the end. But in the end the W is all that matters. I do feel like we "deserved" this win more than the ATL and NO games....so we have that going for us I guess.

Well I'd like to say my blowout prediction was correct + or - Detroit Lions to account for the standard deviation.
