George H.W. Bush, Passes Away

https://www.detroitnews.com/story/s...orge-bush-detroit-tigers-contract/2173880002/
How George H.W. Bush got a contract offer from Detroit Tigers.
Detnews

The article notes that Verlander caught a ceremonial first pitch thrown out by George W. Bush in last years World Series, and today he tweeted out ?RIP#41.?

His wife Kate Upton is not very politically vocal, but those who know her view her as being bi-partisan.

One of her boobs is to the left and the other is to the right.

Many years ago I once had my answering machine message as follows in my best George Bush voice impression, not nearly has good as Dana carvey but it wasn’t bad

Sorry, can’t come to the phone right now wouldn’t be prudent, please leave a message

I liked the old guy. Voted for him against Reagan in the ?80 Michigan Republican primary; voted for him on the Reagan ticket in ?84 and voted for him for president in ?88 and ?92.

When George W. Bush was running for president, I imagined a Dana Garvey skit as George H W Bush - ?As a father, I love him, as a patriot, don?t vote for him, he is a moron??

Even though I didn't agree with most of his political views, he treated the Office of President of the United States with respect, and in contrast to the way things are now, that really matters a whole lot to me.

RIP

My lasting memory of him will be his large influence in passing the Americans with Disabilities Act, against the wishes of big business. It didn't effect me directly but I've seen how positive an impact it had for so many.

It's a shame he went out like he did. I think history will paint his presidency in a positive light when looking at the entire four years and not just the Iraq war and "Read my lips".

The last good one.

Yeah he was pretty unforgettable while in office.

I was talking about being more President like.

Yeah I get it but the problem with that is you are comparing him to King Asshole about
Being Presidential.

Weather you agree or not Obama’s politics he was just as Presidental as Bush.

So if that is the timeline . He I was just a few years ago lol.

More than that it's about his son and Bill as well. I'll give you Obama I tend to forget him.

I didn't really mean to get this thread off topic. Rest in peace to a good man.

we were discussing her on the desk a few years back about whether she should be considered a top model after that horrendous Mercedes Benz commercial. One guy said she was easily top 10 and a PM who we didn't think was even paying attention chimed in with "she wouldn't be in the top 10 at the SoHo Club on a Tuesday afternoon." And ever since then, that's the first thing that comes to mind every time I hear her name.

The letter that GHWB wrote to the incoming Bill Clinton was circulating over the weekend ...

Why do I have the feeling that when 45 calls it quits, he writes a letter to himself, congratulating himself for all his "accomplishments" and daring the next POTUS to try to fill his shoes, "very big shoes ...amazing shoes, trust me ...I know shoes!"

I don?t know what a PM is in this context. I?m not finding a specific definition for top model, there seems to be a reality TV show of that name.

Supermodel seems to be defined as someone who is a celebrity for their runway or print modeling and Kate Upton comes up on some lists as a supermodel.

It looks like there are 23 Soho clubs around the world.
