seems like the answer is a resounding NO.

either of Rubio or Cruz were supposed to be the GOP's answer to Barack Obama, and the way they "reach out" to Hispanic voters (while openly opposing everything Hispanic voters favor, and openly disparaging a large segment of them in often racist ways), but neither of them could manage to rise to the occasion... even considering how low the bar for nominee has been set by their own party.

I agree with zyxt on this one. If I were an artist, I don't think I could draw someone that looks like more of a wimp than Cruz.

They say image has mattered since Kennedy-Nixon. I don't understand how this guy has ever been elected to anything. If I knew nothing else and had to vote based on just pictures...and it was Cruz vs Trump...TRUMP, who's name would likely come up in non-political arguments over what celebrity has the worst hair...I'd pick Trump.

I never said George Zimmerman was a hero but Trayvon Martin was a thug who was killed during the commission of an assault that could have ended in Zimmerman's death. He was perfectly within his rights to defend himself. None of the allegations you made or swallowed whole from the media were even close to proven true. In fact most of them were demonstrated to be false. Local law enforcement, the FBI and a court of law all came to that conclusion.

By the way, has he been convicted of anything? His ex-girlfriend recanted her story about him assaulting her and said he in fact did not point a weapon at her. And the guy that fired at him is a nut job stalker who has been charged with attempted murder while Zimmerman has been charged with nothing - I'm sure you're following but not posting because the facts don't fit your narrative. There's nothing racial or racist about my view of this case - unlike yours, my opinions are shaped by facts. Yours are shaped by your deep seeded need to believe that America is a fundamentally racist country. Data doesn't back that up, so you twist the story on anecdotal bits here and there to make your unsubstantiated declarations. You're an idiot. And a racist.

The facts of the case indicate that Zimmerman lost sight of Martin and got out of his car to look for an address to direct police to his location. After that, he is surprised by Martin who assaults him, pounding his head into the concrete of the sidewalk. There is no reason to believe that wasn't in fact what happened and believing that does not make someone a racist.

As for Trayvon being a thug, I'm not aware of the minimum number of instances of thuggish behavior required in order to be called a thug but if you look at his social media postings talking about doing/dealing drugs and guns, posting selfies getting high, with guns, etc and with your crew flashing gang signs - that alone is an indication. He was also suspended twice in one year, once while stopped by school security for vandalism (graffiti) he was found to be in possession of stolen jewelry and robbery tools and once for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Neither crime was reported to police because the school was purposely not reporting crimes in order to show they were cutting down on crime. Considering all of that and the fact that he assaulted a guy for following him rather than just fleeing and going home, I don't think calling him a thug is an egregious mischaracterization or an indication of racism - unless like I said, you're michturd and you desperately need to believe America is a fundamentally racist country and anyone who disagrees with you is a racist.

I thought I remembered from Zimmermans trial the testimony of some girl that Trey von was texting with claiming that Trey von had texted her that Zimmerman was following him and making him nervous.

The theft and graffiti are more significant than being stupid on social media.

I guess I had thought he had just gotten into a couple of fights in middle school; I got into a few fights at that age in school myself.

That is more thuggish than I had heard; I guess I'm a little surprised he was allowed to continue in school athletics. I don't think back in my day anyone would've been allowed to have done so.
