Bochy. Bruce Bochy. He was in the Padres' visitor's dugout when Goose talked Dick Williams into pitching to Gibson. He was a backup catcher. I bet that was the beginning of his thinking he was going to manage someday and never make a similarly galactically stupid decision. (with thanks to Lt. Caffey)
