Get StartedCoaching staff was a big reason why sack numbers were low.
Playing corners 8-10 yards off, running dine stunts does not give them enough time to make a play. We we destroyed by short quick passes.
Close but no cigar. 34 turnovers screwed him but the D could have made a few more plays for sure. 33 sacks won't cut it with this Dline and a few too many big long pass plays and runs despite solid overall D.
The problem I see, another bad year so they decide to get rid of Mayhew after 2014 then new GM wants his own coach..
How could the turnovers screw him? They were all flukes! Didn't they watch the film?
So long Gym Shorts, now please for the love of Gaawd do NOT go and hire shanahan
Go get Gruden out of the booth it would be a win a win, Stafford would end up with a QB Coach in Gruden whether he wants one or not!
Turnovers are on players or Linehan.
I think mayhew has been adequate. He bears some responsibility for the talent on the team. It was up to schwartz to win the games
I thought they were bad luck.

I still think we are the third most talented team in the division. Last draft may have saved him.
I initially wanted to disagree... But if we got a legit #2 WR I think we would be an easy #2. On paper we're frightening, especially up front, but schemes and the line just didn't pan out. Should be exciting next year.
Weird how much love they're getting as the best destination for a new head coach
