Goodell suggests ditching the PAT kick

I wouldn't want a 300 lb teammate to be using my back as a step-ladder in an attempt to block a PAT.

Even a GW FG, why risk the potential for injury?

Maybe the NFL could adapt some of the Aussie Rules type of play, where the football could be kicked through the uprights for say....4 points by anyone on O on any down once past mid-field. Do away with the PAT and keep the 6 point TD and 3 point FG.

Instead of jumping on the back allow a throw..2 big guys clasp their hands and vault a guy up and forward.
