Hawks 106 Pistons 103 Final

So many missed 3's tonight...Oh for just a few more duce's...

They showed up in the 2nd half but it was too little, too late. KCP with an off night, not going to crucify him, he's been playing well. Bad games happen.

I feel the team just shot to may threes tonight... just hit a few buckets darn it..

Better effort in the second half but there was just to many ways misses tonight...
Plus not defense for three quarters...

Set a franchise record tonight in 3 point attempts.. What ever number it ends on..

Jump ball? Are these officials retarded?

Edit: Good decision. Thought they left it a jump ball out of the replay.

Kentavious really stinks. Maybe he can play some defense but he sure can't shoot. He's a shooting guard who can't shoot.

KCP with a shot to tie it at the Buzzer... Ball looked good off his hand...nope.

KCP

He shoots way to many threes... 4 for 16 flat out blows...
13 for 43 just sucks....
And stupid..

Good effort, almost beat one of the best teams in the league all while shooting like absolute garbage. Not bad.

It's too bad Drummond was sick, the Pistons could have taken this game. KCP took 16 3 pointers and only made 4 of them, wow. I watched the game and didn't think he chucked up that many shots. Meeks and Augustine had off games as well. Singler was maybe the best Pistons player last night, not going to win many games like that. Still a pretty good job by the Pistons battling back and making a game out of it towards the end but they just didn't play well enough at either end to deserve the game, especially in the 1st half.

I have no clue how the Hawks are good. None of their players are elite. They just work well together.

That's the key, playing well together as a team. You don't have to have a superstar to win titles in today's game. Look at the Spurs last year, they won a title (soundly I might add) with no elite players and downright dominated LeBron, Wade, Bosh with ball movement.

Yeah you do. That's why teams like the 04 Pistons don't win anymore. The Spurs have plenty of superstars. They have two guys who are probably hall of famers (Parker, Duncan), and one who's on the fringe (Ginobili). Just because they are older doesn't mean they have lost luster. Them playing well together is just the cherry on top.

Lakers, Dallas, Spurs, Heat. Those teams have won the most since 2000, and they are littered with stars. The game is catered towards the Lebrons of the world.

Parker, Duncan, Ginobili are not superstars.

the only one that ever was is Duncan and he's 38 years of age now, hasn't been a superstar in about 6-7 years now.

and Ginobili is a shoe in hall of famer because of his international play.

also, the reason why you won't see 04 Pistons teams anymore is because of the changes the league made after they won.

You don't think those guys are elite players? Maybe not now, but during the earlier years, they were about as close as you can come.

All the champions since 2000 sans 2004 have had stars. Teams like Atlanta can have good seasons, but they won't win.
