Greenwood wasn't cut.

Any team can grab a guy off another teams PS.

Dallas grabbed him, then cut him....so we brought him back to the PS.

That fact that anyone is talking about a PS player is pretty funny. I agree with Motown that you put guys that have potential on the PS and see if they work out. Most of the time, they don't. Greenwood has stupid measurable....but probably has little to NO understanding of NFL defensive concepts and schemes.

Best case scenario is he figures it out at least well enough contribute. Probably not.

Cmon man, he's a practice squad player. A guy that knows the system, has 'some' talent. He's not goibg to make or break the team, he's not fn with chemistry. The Lions are not the only team to do this....this is done on the regular by ALL football clubs.

Greenwood wasn't cut. He was STOLEN by the Cowboys. The Cowboys still wanted him on their practice squad just found out he is a developmental talented player than shouldn't be on the 53 man roster just yet. Greenwood can turn into a good player. We got a whole offseason to discuss.

And Greenwood chose to come back to the Lions. He had several PS offers from teams including the Cowboys.

Injury happens and slay steps in. 2 injuries?...no problem....bentley is all pro. 3 injuries....give ron bartell a call....he shut brandon marshall down that one time. 4 injuries. ...we got it covered....move carey to cb....he has like a 15% completion against .. he's lke revis in his prime and were just hiding him on the bench so we can resign him for cheap.
