Hey Dudes, it?s Opening Day!

Now you?re clutching at straws, my friend.

Look at the date on the article that you linked to ? December 17, 2019. So how many games in the 2019 season that were played on or after the date of the article? Oh that?s right, none!

The rule change applied to the 2020 season.

I was wrong about the reason for the rule change, but you are wrong about it being ?way before the Covid.?

But it wasn't related to Covid is my point. They already made the rule that the next season we had Covid was a bad coincidence.

Hmmmmm...

What you said was it was way before - it wasn?t. The change was for the 2020 season. The events coincided.

It does occur to me that I recall hearing sports guys on the radio who seemed to connect the three hitter to the Covid rules.

We didn't have Covid when they finalized the rule. It was just the upcoming season. With or without Covid the rule was happening.

Caught some of the first inning on the radio when lots of tiger bats were waking and working counts to 3-2 it was wired. It’s a new concept we haven’t seen in years

I know that now!

What you said was it was way before Covid and it wasn’t. It was implemented to start the year Covid happened.

Whether it would’ve happened with or without Covid it is irrelevant as to when it happened, and it happened when Cove it happened. It didn’t happen before Covid happened.

You’re just wrong.

Lol. They didn't know anything about Covid. If we didn't have Covid, still would have had the rule. It's not like they said "Lets have a new 3 batter minimum rule because we might have a pandemic." Now quick arguing with me. Lol.

I?m done arguing. I have it as a split decision.

I will say I?m pretty sure the reason I thought it was one of the Covid rule changes is because I think I recall, again, hearing professional sports guys on the radio and maybe even announcers talking about the three hitter rule as if it were a Covid rule. Now, maybe they weren?t and I misunderstood them; or maybe even they didn?t actually know that it wasn?t a Covid rule.

I don't mind seeing Iv?n Nova on the mound as long as he doesn't have an old English D on his cap.

That?s the future and the Tigers, as usual, are ahead of the curve. They are also inventing something called saber-metrics. I?m not sure what swords have to do with baseball, but Alan Avila is a visionary?s visionary.
