The big question that needs to be answered is....who is the girl he spoke with on the phone all of the time...everyday? If it was a girl and not Tui, why do it? If there is no money exchanging hands then what is the end game? Why would you commit that much time to something...for a prank? You're going to spend a few years of your life tricking a guy you have never met in person or don't intend to meet for what? This is just such a weird story.
I've said this before but there needs to be some serious studies done on some of these people on the internet. You go to message boards and you see people make multiple sign ins so they can agree with one another and make it seem like people support the same argument. You see it all the time on ESPN. Why? Why would you either think that A.) it's actually funny and B) why would you get off on doing that? i really think those are some truly disturbed and twisted people.
The cloak of perceived anonymity seems to cause many to act out online in many ways like they never or rarely would when in person, public and/or private amongst friends, relatives, strangers and/or acquaintances. Its not unlike role playing games and attempting to make oneself seem to appear superior and more witty and/or crafty online, even if they don't manage to convince or impress many if anyone else who is lurking or posting, and they often end up looking even more stupid than they really are when they get caught, owned or outed.
