Hoops vs Iowa

I don't usually pay attention to any games other than Michigan's games, but I did just turn on Wisconsin vs. MSU.

Pretty close game so far.

I read a preview of the game with an interview of Fran McCaffrey where I swear he called those two guys out in his pre-game interview as problems for his team.
kinda ironic they were largely taken out of action by the refs.

we were still good enough to overcome that, AND poor shooting to win, but we won't be able to do that against a better team.

side note, I never liked Fran McCaffrey. he's a real prick.

I remember him being confrontational in interviews a couple years ago when he had that dirty guy on his team who kept poking opponents in the eye, and claiming it was accidental.

Yeah, Fran is a douche.

Sparty pulls out a close one against Wisconsin.

They're in our guy's bracket.

They were last season, and played Wisconsin in the same round as today, I think - quarterfinal - but Wisconsin upset them.

TheWolveriines24, are you going to start today's game thread?

You know it! Been out on meetings most of the day, but I'm pretty much settled in at work now and I'm ready to stream this game and shuck that corn.

Well, MAAR and Wagner are probably Michigan's best 2 players, so of course, they are going to be a problem for his team...

but yeah, he does seem like a prick.

Yep, MSU wins another one by 1 score. They sure win a lot of close games.

Sometimes I wonder if you just type out random thoughts from thin air. They've won 4 games by 1 possession all season(all being 3 pt wins). They've also won 20 games by double digits.

1/10 MSU 76 Rutgers 72 (OT)
1/28 MSU wins by 6 at Maryland
2/3 MSU 63 Indiana 60
2/6 MSU 96 Iowa 93
2/10 Purdue 65 MSU 68
2/17 MSU 65 Northwestern 60 (MSU came back from down 29)
2 games against UW, won by 3, won by 5

Like I said, MSU wins a lot of close games and they won today by 1 score. There's 8 big games that were close games. That is a lot.

Throw in the first game against Rutgers (won by 10, which was close until late) and the game against PSU where MSU won by 8, which was again, close until very late and Those are a lot of close games. I didn't say they were all 1 point games.

Now try to leave me alone...

But but but but........:lmao:

stretching it from 1 score games to 10 pt wins

I repeat. I did not say they were all 1 score games. You read that into it and that isn't my fault.

What I said isn't even bad. Good for them that they can win those close games. Sometimes that is more impressive than blowing everyone out. I know I hate it when Michigan loses a close one.
