Yes, I thought it was a great chant. I don't think the coach should've done that. i doubt it bothered Iggy.

Maybe the Maryland coach thought it would make Iggy play better. Sometimes people thrive off of stuff like that. Iggy seems to be the type to use that as motivation.

I heard the chant the first time Iggy took free throws.

Iggy Ugly could pull more tail in a weekend than anybody in the stands could from orientation to graduation.

it was a welcome surprise to me; he seemed kinda ****y before the @UW game
in an interview, like he loves the hate and welcomes the challenge (from what I recall)... then he went and shot 0-5 and finished with no points. I'm not trying to trash him, but figured he was a little inexperienced this year. if he can finish well at MSU, that could show a lot of rapid growth from him, and raise the ceiling on expectations

Holy crap, that's a name from the past. Peplowski went to Warren DeLaSalle, right down the road from my house. We didn't like those assholes, but we were still hoping he was going to Michigan. I mean you still have to respect size and talent. If I'm not mistaken, and I could be, I thought he graduated high school late. He was like 3 years older than I was and didn't hit the draft until like 93. Vic, you makin' me feel old.
