hoops vs Minnesota

I think Michigan State is a little better than Michigan-hell obviously they’re better, they are 2-0 against Michigan.

Hopefully they’re not as good as better than two out of three against Michigan.

They did help Michigan, but I'm still worried about Sparty, even with Matthews back.

Yeah, me too. Sparty handled Michigan pretty easily this year. Hope Michigan learned something from those games that they can use tomorrow.

State has the blueprint to beat Michigan, but Michigan is feeling it on this court. Its going to be a really good game.

DId anyone notice the announcers hack the discussion of the previous meetings this season between Michigan and Minnesota? The first time they mentioned it, they said that MN won at MIchigan and that Michigan won at MN. Then a few minutes later, they "corrected" themselves and said that MIchigan won by 2 at MN and then won 69-60 at home. They never did get it right.

No I missed that.

But fuck those fucking assholes.

I know the outcomes of both games and I?m not being paid a damned dime to broadcast the results.

Exactly

I guess maybe they are mentioning the results for the more casual fan that isn't tune, but the least they can do is get it right. I'm sure they have some internet device handy in the booth.

Yeah I noticed the botched job at the previous scores verses Minnesota. That bugged me but what really bugs me is when Espn talks about the Acc getting 3 number one seeds. Look I know all three Virginia, Unc, and Duke are all playing great and Duke was misssing the basketball Messiah Zion. They always mention each teams quality wins and that Duke was minus Zion. Then they Nonchalantly say yeah no matter what the winner or loser of the MSU and Michigan game will be still a #2. Maybe MSU could slide into a #1. It is total horseshit how they down play the Big Ten.

Look I am not a MSU fan but they should get a #1 seed if they beat us a third time, and Michigan should be in the discussion for one or at least the top 2 seed. I hate it how no one ever talks about how Michigan destroyed (27-6) unc 84-67, and (25-9) Villanova 73-46 on the road.

I love it how they talk about how poorly Michigan has been playing of late. They lost to MSU twice. MSU is a top 5 team. Losing to them is not playing poorly. They beat everyone else.

As of today, ESPN Bracketology
has Michigan predicted as a #2 in the East.

I have an Internet device handy at pretty much all times.

I’m posting this using my handy Internet device right now.

And I’m still not been paid a damn dime.

You, me, and Bob would make a helluva good announcing team for Michigan games. Make it happen. I'd do it at a fraction of the price that they pay these goofs.

Bob would have to discuss his opinions of the ?auto-bench? and other such things with a little more objectivity than he does on this here board.

And forget about the Anaheim Angels not playing Bobby Abreu and Tori Hunter on the last game of the 2011 season against the Texas Rangers already, for crying out loud!

Well, there's always some crazy dude in the booth. That would be Bob. He'd be our Dicky V, Bill Raftery, etc.

Yeah that's what I don't like. It probably is legitimate to discount Duke's losses without Zion. But you can't then turn around and give UNC full credit for those wins. That's the ACC having it's cake and eating it too. UNC has 2 blowout losses (UM and Louisville by 20 on their home court) and none of that gets mentioned (oh and not getting it done vs Virginia at home). All things considered there Kentucky should be placed higher than UNC as they beat them on a neutral court. It seems to be a consistent pattern over the years that the Big Ten gets jobbed in seeding, though.

And sorry Gonzaga shouldn't still be a 1. I like their team and they're still a threat to make the FF but you don't lose by 13 in your conference tournament to a team that wasn't going to otherwise make the tournament and not expect repercussions unless you have a lot more quality wins than they have.

As for us, gotta win today for it to still be a conversation. But I don't have a good feeling about it. I'm in line with a lot of people in thinking that losing yesterday might have been better. More rest and it wouldn't have affected us staying on the 2 line.

Duke doesn't get dinged for losses without Zion

MSU gets dinged for losses without Ward and Langford

UM gets dinged for losses without Matthews

A lot of teams probably have a lot of other injures that I don't know about
