Hoops vs MSU

MSU and their fans should be forewarned. Howard has an awesome recruiting class coming in.

Things are about to get interesting.

Did not expect a close game today, let alone a victory

I did expect Winston to go off and he did. Enjoy him while you can.

I thought it a pretty good possibility Howard would pull higher rated recruiting classes than Beilein. Guys with NBA backgrounds seem to be able to attract recruits that way. But it will still be hard for him to surpass the on court success Beilein has had over the past 8 years or so.

In other words, things have been interesting for awhile. If they remain interesting going forward, that's fine.

Well to be fair, Juwan was the only one that could stop the msu fast break. Never seen a coach run out on the court and get t'd up just to stop a break before

That's because you've probably never seen a coach who will do anything for their players before.

I have to say it's a bit odd that they blew the play dead on the technical negating a Winston 3 pointer - i thought the refs were supposed to be in Izzo's pocket all night. I mean they called a whopping 4 more fouls on uofm in a game they were trailing by double digits 80% of the time. Clearly, the fix was in.

Michigan will have trouble being .500 in the Big Ten without Livers, and still would have lost by 10+ with him yesterday the way Winston and Tillman were playing.

any word on when Livers will be back? during the broadcast they said something like all he can do at this point is basically take set shots or dribble in place - no running, cutting, jumping etc.

In news of continued inconsequence, Sparty climbs to #8 in both polls; M drops to #19 in both polls.
