Before the game, the commentators mentioned that MSU had won 4 in a row and 9 out of the last 12.
That is correct, but it is kind of nitpicking certain numbers to paint a picture
Now after today, Winston is 5-4 against Simpson and likewise, Simpson is 4-5 against Winston
That is a 1 game difference
Paints 2 completely different pictures if you only use certain numbers

I had never seen Winston amd Simpson play 1 on 1. Do you have video of these 9 matchups?
Obviously I'm joking, but I dont get why people pit those 2 against each other. They never match up against the other really at all during the games. Hell, I don't even think msu went into the game with the idea they wanted to guard Simpson at all today with how bad of a shooter he usually is.

I don't know if it is a "great" win. It's always nice to win a rivalry game, but this MSU team isn't very good this season. They'll probably be unranked just like Michigan come Monday.
