Hoops vs Purdue

And so if most agree, which there shouldn't be any doubt, that Michigan is the best team in the Big10, why can't they be a 1 or 2 seed like Purdue or MSU? If any of those two are seeded higher, I think it would be a fucking shame.

Man! I really thought Purdue was the best team in the big 10 when things started off this year...but!

Purdue won by 1 in AA, on a weak ass call

They won by 4 against MIchigan at Purdue

They got beat by OSU

They got beat at MSU

and they got beat by a weak ass UW squad

THen Michigan spanked them, and I mean SPANKED them, in NYC

Sometimes things are just not what they appear!

This Michigan team was not supposed to be good. It was going to be a down year in AA. Nope! Michigan improved over the course of the year and are NOW the best team in the conference. There is just no valid argument to say otherwise.

There's no way on earth we should be anything less than a 3 seed.

7 losses for UM and 4 for MSU. I think MSU gets a better seed.

Both teams have 28 wins. MSU is 0-2 against Michigan. Michigan is Tournament Champion for 2 years in a row. That should be considered, also, when seeding happens. The 2 time champion heading legitimizes the program even more. Seed should be higher or the same as the other 2 schools.

from the cbs sport write up:

The Wolverines have now won nine straight, and at 28-7, have established themselves as a No. 4 seed at worst on Selection Sunday

Michigan actually has a better resume based on wins and especially road wins. Michigan's road win at Texas is looking really good now.

Exactly!

I'd love a rematch with UNC...RIGHT NOW!! Neutral court. Run it!

Beilein said something really interesting on BTN. They asked him why the teams defense has gotten so much better the past two years and he said its because he stopped coaching it so much. He said he has now let an assistant take over coaching defense and it allows him to just focus on the offense and he tweekes the defense during the game. He actually thinks it has also helped make the offense more consistent

Michigan has a 7-5 record in quadrant one games and MSU is 3-4 in quadrant 1 games and that does count @Maryland for both which could drop this week to a quadrant 2 win
