Hoops vs Wisconsin

Don’t get playing Johns jr :/.

Just awful off offense last two sets at 20-19.

Did anyone see where the guys feet were. If he was out of the restricted area it?s a Charge. It was close . My issue is they never seem to call it the same on both ends in a Badgers game.

Still I don?t remember ever seeing a review of anything that wasn?t happening with the ball itself.

At least Matthews made up for that last miss.

Still not liking this game much.

Why is Happ allowed to use his off arm to create space?

Iggy needs to sit. He is forcing so badly right now.

So far
Iggy is 1-8
Charles 1-4

Only down a point maybe they can both shake it off.

This game just feels like the same one in Madison so far. Hanging in there, but we can't score in the low 50s and expect to win this game.

We should be pushing the pace. I like attacking the rim a lot on the break. Hook shoot not so much unless it is late shot clock lol.

One guy is beating us Happ with 14 points. Three ball is the only reason we are tied right now. Michigan is 4/7. Wisconsin is 1/7.

We should double team Happ more often in the second half. Maybe we can cause some turnovers that way, or at least force someone else to hit an outside shot. Guy is 7/10 right now and is feeling it.

Dick Bennett and I hate the ugly style of basketball they love.

This reminds me of a quote I saw some time ago. I don't really like re-quoting anything from Red Cedar, but erg57 was the one who posted it here (this was when Ryan was still coach):

Wisconsin basketball is stuck in no-man's land. You have a coach that never actually accomplishes anything, but wins enough games to the point where he's untouchable. Combined with a style of play that's the ugliest in the nation and a roster full of Hitler youth gumps and gingers. It's basketball purgatory.
