Get StartedBench scoring (and runs) has been a big part of our success all season. We've also had an insane number of wins after trailing at half time. We haven't had a star until the very recent rise of Jase Richardson as a go-to scorer. We didn't play great, which is a good sign that we can still put out a win when we're not at our best, but bench depth, defense and getting hot at the right time are more the norm than the exception.Just not sure a Big ten team can break through. So many tough teams left. Man did Purdue fall for such a basic out of bounds play.
What is strange is out of the 4 teams that played yesterday Auburn vs Michigan and and MSU verses Mississippi I really thought Mississippi played the best of the 4 teams. Auburn and MSU relied on Bench scoring and runs. Auburn got red hot after UM took a 48-39 lead with 12 left.. MSU wore Mississippi down. MSU defense was the difference. I was shocked Mississippi out rebounded msu. Doubt that happens again. Will freshman PETTIFORD go off again ? He only averages 8 a game. Auburn -5.5 seems high to me. I thought Auburn was sloppy as hell and um could have had a larger lead if they just stopped turning the ball over.
