are Packers fans right now, having the Giants coming into Lambeau operating like a well oiled machine similar to 2007. They'll point to their 15-1 record and Giants 9-7 record, they'll say there is no way the Giants D can stop that O...just like the 18-0 Pats thought back in 2007 after the Giants had defeated the Pack at Lambeau...

If I'm a Packer fan, Giants are the last team I would have wanted to see at any time in the playoffs.

The Giants gave them all they could handle in the game 4 weeks ago. Giants have the recipe to possibly beat GB. They have a front four that can get pressure on Rodgers w/out having to blitz constantly.

I'm also not really feeling it for the even more boisterous than ever NO Saints traveling to SF to play the 49ers next Saturday afternoon, being in the great outdoors of the NW hasn't been too kind to them of late...

Not rooting for either team to win though, and even for obvious reasons.

I've learned to never overlook Tom Coughlin's group. This is the team that ruined the Pat's 19-0. I wouldn't put it past them to go up there to Lambeau and knock 'em off.

Not really worried. The Falcons were absolutely inept on offense. Giants will be away from home.

That's not to say I won't be nervous. I'm nervous before every playoff game. I just expect a win.

5 - 3 on the road this year.

8-0 at home.

Ask the Pats how much an unbeaten streak matters against the Giants. Granted it is a different season, but these Giants currently play similarly.

The Giants beat the packers that year in the NFC championship game. There's a lot of players now that remember that. They certainly haven't forgotten. The Packers have had basically 2 weeks now to get healthy. We're the better team, at home, and we should win.

true dat...will be a very interesting to see if pack extract revenge. eli isn't the best cold weather qb, still shocked he didn't lose the nfcc game at lambeau

The thing about the Giants is that they are finally getting healthy, Just Tuck and Ominyura are wrecking havoc again and this just mean JPP will see more single blockers. When healthy, that's the best pass rushing D line in football, and it's not even close for 2nd.

If I'm GB, yeah, I'd be plenty worried about the Giants.

could careless...you made reference to the Giants being on the road , pointed out they're 5 - 3 on the road , and the GB cold weather won't bother them either.

hopefully the G-Men beat them.

So you pointed out that the giants are 5-3 on the road, and I pointed out that the Packers are 8-0 at home - which is certainly better than 5-3. The cold weather won't make much of a difference either way.

Its the playoffs its not like were going to play a bad team. I'm not any more nervous than I would be if it was the falcons or lions. Pack already beat them once in new york. Am I saying there's no way they could win, no.

Of course if the giants win, you guys will act like your football gods. But if we said something about a win, were asshole trolls lol.

No, that isn't the point I was trying to get across. Just seems like the similarities to 2007 are a bit disconcerting and that IF I was a Packer fan I'd be pretty concerned having to face the Giants this postseason. Obviously I would also be expecting the Packers to win...but that doesn't mean the concern and nervousness wouldn't be there.

Big difference is rodgers and favre during big games. But to be honest, giants are the last team I want them to lose to. That game still pisses me off.

And really, the more people doubt the packers the better I think.

I this when the Packers players go to the podium and say "no one believed in us" lol. Doubting the Packers doesn't make them play better.

How many times has it been said that being underestimated has fueled Rodgers.

Not getting recruited, falling in the draft. The whole team plays better that way

Like I said players say that. "Oh no one believed in us". Whoever underestimates GB?

Yeah but every single athlete on the planet uses that athlete speak bullshit to try and motivate themselves. Personally I think it's just one of those things that guys say because it sounds good. Peyton Manning was the #1 overall pick in the pros, finished 2nd in the Heisman voting, etc. Does that must mean he doesn't have any extra motivation since we've always thought he was really good???
