We all knew that's how he played. Fans like his dirty/gritty play when you're winning but hate it when you're losing. I think he went a little overboard on that play and shoud sit for a game but I am not going to cry and say I am embarrassed to be a Lions fan. I think the last 10 years was more embarassing than a dirty play.

Suh I lost respect for today.

We should be talking about Kevin Smith and how great he's been since coming back and what the status of his injury is, hopefully he'll be ready to go a week from Sunday. I have a lot of respect for Kevin Smith and how he never got down on himself after being cut and how humble it all made him and how appreciative he is for the game and his opportunity. Hopefully Suh can earn back our trust and respect in time but it's going to be a long up hill battle for him now to clean it up.

this is the detroit lions we're discussing here NOT THE OAKLAND RAIDERS......those raiders squads actually possessed a modicum of respect from the NFL......we try dirty and get flagged for it every freaking time. i like the grittiness as much as the next, as i have expressed MANY TIMES on this very board......but when you don't win dirty=stupidity.

the league doesn't respect us because of our lifetime of losing.....which is why WE GET THAT DAMN YELLOW FLAG tossed against us on each and every questionable play now. the refs don't expect us be able to make the play on talent and instincts alone, they seem to believe WE MUST HAVE CHEATED SOMEHOW and this is especially true now because of our reputation.......crossing the line the way we do is NEVER GETTING THIS TEAM ANYWHERE because the league won't let us. we have to clean this shit up, we need to be just tough now, scratch the dirty....because i'm fucking sick of the flags.

see, what you don't seem to get that there is a different standard when it comes to this football team.....other squads, you're right.....are allowed to get away with outright murder, we however are not. it's because we have sucked for so many years now the league can't comprehend the fact we are actually good......now add upon the questionable behavior of the lions and now you have a double whammy.....we are perceived to be dirty therefore we are. I get that they beat themselves at times but I still think they are moving in the right direction overall, having said that I would like to see less stupidity, less flaunting when you're losing. that ref crew was known to be flag happy, GB's coach knew that and prepared his team properly. Hopefully they learn something from this.

At peace with it all? hell no.. I don't want to be a Fan of Suh anymore if he can't even own up to it and admit he let everyone down today.
