I actually used to kind of had that opinion of Drew Pinsky myself, before I started listening to his radio show on 790 KABC with Mike Catherwood, his love lines partner.
They talk about the same current events that everybody else does, except Pinsky is an MD, and therefore a little more knowledgeable about issues concerning medication and health.
In post 17, the one just before the one I'm quoting here, there's a link to a radio interview of Pinsky by Doug McIntyre, who also hosts a radio show on the same station.
Pinsky specifically states that he DOES not make diagnoses of people he doesn't know; the things he says on the air are much less comprehensive than a diagnosis.
I don't think Pinsky has any agenda; I don't think he's going to vote for either Trump or Hillary.
I don't know that any medical review board or anything like that has ever questioned his ethics.
But, again, before I started listening to his radio show, or parts of it while driving around on business, I was skeptical of him too.
