I am fucking sick of Trump

Damn it, I hope there aren't too many stupid people who buy into the recent shift in Trump's tone. It's so obviously and clearly manufactured based on his weak poll numbers, and because of the new leadership in his campaign. And if his supporters believe in what they've said all along, it should offend them that he's changing who he is.

But then again, he's pretty much tipping his hand that what he's saying is BS anyway. What's his usual line...believe me, believe this? Well last night when talking about regret that he has for some of the mean and hurtful things he's said on the campaign trail it was...believe it or not. Please, middle of the road Republican and Independent, make the right choice.

Well, there ARE too many stupid people.

I wouldnt worry too much. Billary's campaign hasn't even had to try yet... Trump has been doing this to himself. they have plenty of dirt to bury him under.

he'll evemtually implode again. he hasn't been able to stay in line, nor has he listened to any of his staffers consistently. as soon as he feels confident again, he'll get cocky, say more stupid shit, and drop back to a double digit gap.

When are you going to start the Hillary thread Spartan Mack

Starting threads like these is how hateful people express their rage, fear and ignorance. It's not how I operate - I prefer to call out the hypocrisy of the hateful idiots who buy into these circus side-show distractions.

Gary Johnson.

Or Dr. Jill Stein if you're a big libtard.

Either one.

When I was ready to vote for Sanders I said I'd vote for an ideology I didn't agree with if I just thought the person would put what they thought was best for the US in front of what's best for themselves or their party. At this point, I think that's got to be one of these two.

Did everyone see that Trump statue and the NYC Park response?

NYC parks department on naked Trump statue: ?NYC Parks stands firmly against any unpermitted erection in city parks, no matter how small.?

Huh?

My gawd people, how many scandals does there have to be before it's clear as mud she's corrupt to the core and is a massive compulsive liar, still waiting for that Clinton thread Mack!

http://www.judicialwatch.org/press-...special-access-top-clinton-foundation-donors/

this has already been excused away by the media who gave it about 1/5th the coverage they gave to the Ryan Lochte bathroom scandal. It's a rigged game and you'll have sbee and bob pointing out that Hillary wasn't on the actual email from her top advisor and top officials at her foundation, so she probably didn't know anything about it and how it's not nearly as bad as making a bad joke about mobilizing 2nd amendment voters. Just one sideshow after another.

Every time I see Hilarious Clinton explain away her abject negligence, stupidity and hubris, I marvel at the gullibility of the American people and the media's compliance in letting her get away with it. She should be in a Federal prison and she's going to be president.

“Clinton’s pattern of serial dishonesty is completely unacceptable for a candidate seeking the nation’s highest office, and her refusal to tell the truth and own up to her poor judgment is a preview of how she would conduct herself if elected president.”

Colin Powell's endorsement of Hollary Clinton

Abject negligence and stupidity apply more her sycophants in the media and the public at large. Her involvement in these scandals goes way beyond negligence, gross or otherwise. She is the puppet master.

I believe your quote is actually from Reince Priebus.

The 2nd amendment thing wasn't about mobilizing voters, it's more along the lines of the "2nd amendment solutions" that were suggested by Sharron Angle. You have to understand this and just be arguing for the state of argument, you have to be smarter than that but you also rarely if ever say bad things about Trump, so who knows? You'll say you don't support him but you tend to stay out of discussions about his shortcomings, preferring to focus on Hillary who must be somehow worse in your mind. You can tell that the audience didn't think it was about getting out to vote, he's just a fool playing to the crowd with little to no regard for what he says, whatever gets applause. This does get lost in the litany of unhinged comments from Trump, about the judges not being able to do their jobs, mocking a disabled reporter, suggesting that Obama literally founded ISIS, telling someone to punch a protester in the face, etc. I actually think the 2nd amendment comment didn't get as much press as you'd think because he says so many crazy things that we're used to it. It's hard to summon the proper disgust and outrage on a daily basis.

As for Clinton, I've read the emails, etc. I think this is just another non issue scandal, do the rich and powerful get special access and special favors? of course, this isn't just a Clinton thing, this is politics in general. Whether you consider it to be quid pro quo depends on your motivation really. Hillary has been in the GOP crosshairs for about 25 years, there's always one non issue after another for political purposes. Benghazi was all about the failure of President Obama, until he won reelection, then it became a matter of the failure of Hillary Clinton.

I say this as someone who will vote for Hillary, she's not my favorite, never will be. I think her first 4 years will be focused on winning in 2020, not doing the hard work of government, things that are necessary and unpopular. I dislike her pandering ways, a complete flip flop on the TPP before the bill is voted on because she wants to lure Bernie supporters to the polls, she'll do what's popular vs what she thinks is right. There are plenty of reasons to not like her, but these "scandals" are just accusations that are fodder for people who hated her to begin with. It doesn't matter if anything sticks or not, it's the accusation that does the damage. Good thing for her she's running against the least qualified and most unhinged candidate that's won a major party primary.

you're the one saying Trump was publicly calling for Clinton's assassination - that's the only thing he could have possibly meant and he was dead serious about it - and I'm the one that has to be smarter about it? And why do I need to come on here to say bad things about Trump? I said I can't stand him and I would never vote for him way back when he entered the race for the nomination. Do I really need to join the bandwagon of idiots who believe every twist of every utterance the guy makes? I'm not voting for Trump because he's not a conservative and he's a bad guy - I don't need to buy into all the lies, half truths and smears and pretend to hate him for all the made up reasons because I've already made up my mind about him long ago.

You're right about one thing - as bad as Trump is, I believe Hillary is far worse and the evidence supports that conclusion clearly. So again, I'm not voting for either of them and it doesn't matter to me that you don't think Hillary is worse.

All I can say about your second paragraph is it is mind numbingly stupid. You have clear evidence of corruption - actual State Department for hire to the highest bidder and you're ok with it because it's politics as usual. You want to crucify Rumsfeld as the sole person responsible for the harm aspertame has done to the American people, but Hillary selling out American interests to foreigners - foreigners we know are bad actors, and it's just business as usual. You are such a partisan hack, it's amazing.

What Trump was inferring to was someone shooting her, I don't think that's actually what he wants to happen, he was saying it as some kind of sick joke to get applause from his audience. He is so unhinged that he doesn't realize the ramifications of what he's saying, that some crazy right winger could take him seriously.

You don't have evidence that it's quid pro quo for access to the state department. I'm sure there are plenty of instances where Clinton foundation donors didn't have access and people who didn't donate did have access. I have a hard time believing that someone so calculating would conduct risk her presidency in order to bring in relatively small amounts of money for a pet project? I've said that there are plenty of reasons not to like Hillary, I have mine. I think yours is just that she's a democrat and all democrats are evil, just like the Kenyan, Marxist, Muslim President and essentially every Democrat to come before him.

Also, if you think that Trump would be a better president than Clinton would be you're either lying for the sake of this argument or you're just fucking crazy, assuming that in every situation R>D just because of the letter by their name.

appropos of everything and nothing, this post in a blog I read amused me.

quote: "after bragging for a year about how cheaply he was running his campaign, Donald Trump is spending more freely now that other people are contributing ― particularly when the beneficiary is himself.

Trump nearly quintupled the monthly rent his presidential campaign pays for its headquarters at Trump Tower to $169,758 in July, when he was raising funds from donors, compared with March, when he was self-funding his campaign, according to a Huffington Post review of Federal Election Commission filings. The rent jumped even though he was paying fewer staff in July than he did in March."

The people who give him money are the biggest fucking saps in the world right now.

I actually think if there were to be an assassination attempt, it would more likely be someone going after Trump. My impression is more of this stuff comes from the left. More talk from the right, more actual attempts from the left.

i think I missed where assassinations were brought up. seriously though, what's the basis for your impression?

agree....I would put Hillary donors in that category as well

they're bad too, but for different reasons; in that case its a quid pro quo. Trump's just grabbing cash and stuffing it into his pocket.
