I am fucking sick of Trump

Also, if you think that Trump would be a better president than Clinton would be you're either lying for the sake of this argument or you're just fucking crazy, assuming that in every situation R>D just because of the letter by their name.

No, I don't think in every situation R>D. I think Hillary Clinton is by far the worst human being ever to run for President in my life time. And I'm not voting for Trump either, so whether I think he would be a better president is irrelevant. I do think he'd have a harder time pressing his agenda since he's disliked by both Rs and Ds, so in that sense, I think he would do less harm - even to our standing internationally, which if he haven't been keeping track has been greatly diminished over the last 8 years and now Hillary is promising more of it.

i think I missed where assassinations were brought up. seriously though, what's the basis for your impression?

Trump 2nd amendment/assassination joke.

But at least since Kennedy, haven't there been more assassination attempts on Republican Presidents?

What Trump was inferring to was someone shooting her, I don't think that's actually what he wants to happen, he was saying it as some kind of sick joke to get applause from his audience. He is so unhinged that he doesn't realize the ramifications of what he's saying, that some crazy right winger could take him seriously.

If he was inferring that, then it was most likely a stupid joke in bad taste. But lets not forget that in 1994, those "second amendment people" tipped the balance by voting out people who voted against their interests - it's possible he was referring to that and making a bad joke at the same time, sorta like you know, walking and chewing gum at the same time. Maybe you're not the only person who can do that.

You don't have evidence that it's quid pro quo for access to the state department. I'm sure there are plenty of instances where Clinton foundation donors didn't have access and people who didn't donate did have access. I have a hard time believing that someone so calculating would conduct risk her presidency in order to bring in relatively small amounts of money for a pet project? I've said that there are plenty of reasons not to like Hillary, I have mine. I think yours is just that she's a democrat and all democrats are evil, just like the Kenyan, Marxist, Muslim President and essentially every Democrat to come before him.

Then you don't really know how calculating Hillary is. And if you think millions upon millions of dollars are "relatively small amounts of money" you're either insanely rich or insanely stupid.

they're bad too, but for different reasons; in that case its a quid pro quo. Trump's just grabbing cash and stuffing it into his pocket.

you don't have any evidence that it's quid pro quo - sbee can tell you that and without evidence is just another non-scandal. Now go try to walk and chew gum at the same time.

I guess it depends on if youre willing to attribute the actions of clearly insane people like Hinkley, Squeaky Fromm, or that guy that started randomly shooting at the WhiteHouse from the sidewalk 300 yards away to either party's ideology.

I otherwise honestly don't know the answer to the question. the only attempts I remember are the ones where shots were actually fired, which paradoxically were all the work of crazy people. the serious assassination plots, ones that might be ideologically motivated, have been broken up in the plotting stage and not gotten much press.

What about the Clinton Foundation?
it's crazy... on a libtard blog I post on someone actually demanded I be banned for comparing the Hillary fans who dismissed concerns about conflicts of interest created by the Clinton Foundation to the Republitards who did the same with Dick Cheney and his shameless $20MM "retirement package" from Halliburton.

So I feel a little weird arguing that compared to Trump's blatant grifting, the Clinton Foundation is the lesser of two evils. but it is.

it's the difference between a crook who has some scruples and sense of propriety, and someone who has none.

I see it as one screwing over little people and giving them nothing for it, and the other accepting money from rich parties and absolutely giving them something for it. Both screw the little guy, but they're very different types of crooks. I actually don't know how Trump behaves in the face of significant power. Most of the people that complain are little guys he's run over because he can.

that makes it ok to you? Some of the donors didn't have access so it's not shady that some did. Do you think if they were really dirty the Clinton's would have turned away money from people who didn't want to enrich themselves by stealing from American taxpayers. by the way it's now coming out that over half of Clinton's DoS meetings were with donors to her foundation.

The Clinton's are last century's trash. Sadly, this century's too. More sadly still, is that greater than half the electorate doesn't give a rip. We're kinda screwed when the electorate tacitly acknowledges the fact that political elites are above the law. That's what's happening and it's more dangerous than Trump, in my opinion.

Edit: Cue up the ridiculous response

You're so fucking smart, bro. And everyone else is just stupid.

Well both are giant gassbags so incredibly full of shit they have their own gravity, so I guess it's fair to lump them together from a certain point of view.

Trump sucks. Did you see how he was bringing play doh to flood victims in Louisiana? He DID bring other stuff... It's like jeez, ya dunce, tell them to take the pic when you're unloading bottled water or medicine. You can't even do a photo op right?

It's part of his minority outreach, like tweeting about Dwayne wades cousin. I don't think he actually expects any minority votes, he just wants to seem less racist so whites don't feel as bad voting for him.

Every time I turn around there's trump again in tv giving a speech or having a rally somewhere, is Hillary still running? Don't hardly see her out there campaigning much, trump in Michigan then Louisiana one day, Mexico now even today earlier, now Phoenix, he's all over the map. Now that I think about it, so far I think I've only one I'm ready for Hillary bumper sticker and zero yard signs thus far in my area, saw lots of Obama/Biden bumper sticks and yard signs 4-8 years ago...

She doesn't really need to since he just shoots himself in the foot 3 times a week.

I hope the people that voted for Trump as some sort of protest against the GOP are super happy with themselves.
