Heck you learn something new every day. Three kids from each wife. Married one from 1996 to 2006, and meet his second wife and married her in 2008, and has three young children with her. I guess I should have figured it all out but i really wasn't paying attention to it. I guess the coaching lifestyle can hit men and women pretty hard sometimes.

Seemed like after his playing career ended things kinda fell apart on him. He got his DUI around that time as well.

Then he started coaching and picked himself back up.

the last hiccup was when he gave that dumb speech about Michigan athletics & academics at Stanford.

I think he was still sore over Carr passing over him for QBC, and hiring Loeffler instead.

But it's all water under the bridge now.

what he said about UM was probably true. However, at that point in his career at Stanford, he didn't realize that Stanford probably lowers their standards too.

Lowering standards . Is that why most southern schools are dominating this era of college football playoff system?

One more kid and he can move out to the sticks and play seven person high school football.

the reason they are dominating is that their standards for general admissions are lower, to begin with. That's their advantage. Make no mistake, every team has lower standards for their great athletes vs. the general student population.

Yep.

A personal example, I sent my SAT scores to Florida and they sent me an acceptance letter. I didn't even apply.

Unless he starts getting into a big game, Big title game (and beating OSU) or national title game he can go back to Standford.

Really? You never heard the story about how he ran across a parking lot in Vegas because he saw Sarah? You know James Jr is openly gay and has/had been at UM in Theater ...his ex-wife is in Cali and at the time he took the M job, their youngest stayed there with Mom to finish HS. Sarah is from outside KC and a co-worker/friend of mine who grew up with her has gotten to know Jim pretty well. He was on the sideline for the Orange Bowl game where Stanford obliterated OU and beforehand, Harbaugh informed M he wasn't interested ...giving us Hoke. More recently, my buddy had been on the Niners team bus and two seasons ago in A2 following the Michigan game, he watched Texas beat Notre Dame with coach Harbaugh and a few others at his house!

Coach and Sarah have paid a few visits to Wines Elementary over the time he's been in A2 and are quite the visible, local family in A2. Our data integrity manager (UM, '85) has a niece named Georgia who is currently (again) the Harbaugh's nanny - she went to France with the team this past summer.

The timing there is interesting. Talking concluded before the bowl game. I think it was in Bacon's 2nd to most recent book that he wasn't interested because of the way Dave Brandon half-heartedly pursued him. He "wasn't feeling the love".

Ok, dug out the book. People advised Brandon that Harbaugh was interested in the job. Coleman didn't want Harbaugh. Carr didn't like Harbaugh's 2007 comments and while he may have warmed to Harbaugh some by then, preferred Hoke at that time. Brandon appeared to prefer Harbaugh and thought he could get him, but he wanted to hire him on his terms and pursued him half-heartedly, not meeting him in person, instead sending a consultant's assistant.

What was he doing at Wines?

Recruiting?

Visiting Mike Tirico?

Yeah no sorry I never read much about people?s personal lives unless it is really big news. I remember the dui sort of.. I must have forgotten about his divorce . I just read in the above bio that he has a gay son. I really don?t care. None of my business. I hope he is doing well. Hopefully Jim will start wining 10+ games every year and maybe sprinkle in a big ten title and playoff appearance !!

I can't believe there would be any bio that says he has a gay son. That seems odd (that they would even mention that his son is gay)

It looks like he does have 7 kids. He had a son in January of 2017. He's probably too small to play football.

Having a 7th kid at the age of 53...I can't imagine that

That's cause he's a true alpha male, and you're just a beta cuck libtard.

You need to order virility supplements from Alex Jones and Ben Shapiro. Only $99.99 for a three month supply. act now.

I think the bio being referred to was Victor's post #9.

I would have no problem at all if I had a gay son BUT if I had named that kid after me I would trade names with another of my kids who wasn't gay.

haha...I don't need boner pills.

I'm not too far behind JH in age. My youngest is 16. I can't imagine having more kids at this point in my life. JH will be 71 when his kid graduates from high school.

To each their own.

I think it had more to with his younger wife.
