I never knew Jim had two families

The timing there is interesting. Talking concluded before the bowl game. I think it was in Bacon's 2nd to most recent book that he wasn't interested because of the way Dave Brandon half-heartedly pursued him. He "wasn't feeling the love".

Ok, dug out the book. People advised Brandon that Harbaugh was interested in the job. Coleman didn't want Harbaugh. Carr didn't like Harbaugh's 2007 comments and while he may have warmed to Harbaugh some by then, preferred Hoke at that time. Brandon appeared to prefer Harbaugh and thought he could get him, but he wanted to hire him on his terms and pursued him half-heartedly, not meeting him in person, instead sending a consultant's assistant.

And the SF job was coming open, Bill Walsh a mentor of Harbaugh's ...

I can't believe there would be any bio that says he has a gay son. That seems odd (that they would even mention that his son is gay)

Well if you go to my earlier post, you will see I don't reference any on-line Bio or article, I just know it to be true. And Coach has openly on Twitter, promoted the performances at UM that James has been in and Jr is a pretty funny Twitter follow.

But - here you go

I think most Michigan fans, if they know he's gay or anything else about him, it's because of the story in the Freep last year about his coming out and his dad being supportive. However, in this case Bob linked the bio in question.

You guys all do know that I'm within three years of Harbaugh's (and one year of John's age) age, and I was growing up in Ann Arbor at the same time they were, and I played in the same Jr. football league as they did, and all three of us went to Ann Arbor Pioneer (although Jim ultimately graduated at Palo Alto) don't you?

You should - I've posted about it like 500 times.

I would say that makes me the coolest poster on this thread.

But it also makes me an under achieving piker, compared to my townie buddy Jim.

Coolest, old - yeah sure.

what he said about UM was probably true. However, at that point in his career at Stanford, he didn't realize that Stanford probably lowers their standards too.

i thought it was more about Michigan steering student football players towards general studies majors and then them being on their own after they were done with college if the NFL didn't work out.

That's cause he's a true alpha male, and you're just a beta cuck libtard.

You need to order virility supplements from Alex Jones and Ben Shapiro. Only $99.99 for a three month supply. act now.

It probably helps to be worth 10's of millions of dollars, so you don't have to worry about how much another kid is going to cost...

eh, not so much the cost as the ability to hire a nanny, so you don't have to get up at 3 AM when the kid is crying, change diapers, clean up gallons puke and liquid shit, provide constant supervision of your kid for the first 3 years, or listen to your wife bitch and complain about how hard it is when you make her do any of those things.

Yeah, I hear that costs a lot of money...

Why would anyone hire a nanny to take care of a child in the middle of the night.

You hire a live-in nanny. She has to get up at night.

Staying up with a screaming kid at 3-5 AM when you have to work the next day is just no fun.

If you have the means... hire a nanny.

You can do the fun parenting things, and leave the rest to the nanny.

Habaughs have three very young kids and a very busy life and Georgia is like an "older sister" helping out with everything. And she is very much a part of the Harbaugh family. As I said about she is (again) their nanny because upon graduating from UM, she moved to London for a while. When she moved back to the Detroit metro area, she connected with the family who immediately brought her back as their Nanny for the France trip.

But I agree, I have friends/co-workers who have nannies and don't need them ...they just like to have nanny drama and gossip about how 'hot' their nanny is ...or, if super fancy, Au Pair.

I thought the dui had something to do with finding out his first wife was having or had an affair

I don't know what wife wants a hot nanny in their house.

But anyway, The cost is actually kind of worth it; decent daycare is like $1500/month for infants, and goes down a bit after that, but still isn't cheap.

daycare if you have two kids is easily $20K+ per year. You can hire a nanny or get an au pair for about the same cost. and nannies don't refuse to watch your kid if they're running a fever like daycares do.

That does sound familiar. explains a lot too.

I've heard more warped versions of it from MSU fans, like he was a womanizing drunk... but that story is not consistent with what we've seen from him.
