They have a mean air game and we dont have a mean secondary. I would much rather play a team with a mobile QB like WVU.
They are #6 in the country for a reason - they havent lost.
Houston is not a gimme game.

Houston's opponents;
UCLA, North Texas, Louisiana Tech, Georgia State, UTEP, East Carolina, Marshall, Rice, UAB, Tulane, SMU, Tulsa, and this weekend Southern Miss. (a ranked team with losses to Marshall and UAB).
UCLA and SMU seem to be their best wins. SMU has 5 losses if i remember correctly and UCLA is 6-6. My point is that we've seen this game before; A high scoring offense that hasn't beat a good team plays a big school in a bcs game. Remember hawaii a few years ago against Matt Stafford and Georgia? It was an absolute embarrassment. I have no problem with small programs playing in a BCS bowl, but they haven't beaten anyone to earn it.

I hope Houston does suck and UM kills them. This is a program building game. I know it sounds weak but ALL I care about is a win, regardless of who or how good the competition is.

good point. Root for Houston to win this weekend or we'll get a tough matchup then.
Not sure who it'd be, but I'm assuming Oklahoma State or Stanford would be high on the list of potential opponents.

Lose to them and it leaves the haters too much fodder, doesn't matter that Houston is undefeated because UM would be expected to win. Loosely, it is like playing a MAC or lesser school.
I'd rather have what is considered legit competition from a team like Arkansas, Alabama, Oregon, etc. The only way these guys will go into the off-season more determined is by playing a team like that, win or lose. Beat them, it inspires National Championship dreams. Lose and it lets them have legit perspective as to how much harder they have to work to achieve their dreams.
Better to play a "legit" contender in a non-BCS game than Houston in a BCS game. Right now the only team Houston can beat to raise the overall general impression of their team is LSU, maybe Alabama. JMHO. CFB fans are not to accepting of the perceived lesser schools.
