Incompetent Officiating

I can't believe the NFL is about ready to begin the regular season with these clowns...

It's unbelievable how horrible the refs have been -- so bad; mistakes spotting the ball, keeping track of down and distance and knowing basic calls.

More importantly, how can Oddsmakers properly handicap these games when the Refs are such an unpredictable wild card?!

I agree with you it has been a joke. The NFL keeps saying they are doing fine but everyone knows they arent. I swear Schwartz was ready to kill one on Saturday because it was clear he had no clue what he was doing. Sadly they keep saying we stuck with them till maybe week 2. I just hope a player doesnt get hurt do to their incompetence.

I can't imagine how stirred up a few of these guys are when a guy like Harbaugh is barking at them all game. Lol I'm sure some are used to it even at lower level colleges but the added pressure of the NFl has to be melting some of these guys. Hopefully they get the other refs back so we can complain about them instead.

Yeah, Harbaugh was brow beating the Refs on Sunday - intimidating the hell out of them. SF fumble recovered by SF 7yds down the field and John Fox challenges the spot, claiming the knee was down prior to the fumble.

Harbaugh tells the D-III Ref that it's a 15yd Unsportsmanlike Penalty so the Ref calls it ... only to reverse the call once he understood the nature of the challenge.

We need the regular refs back. The replacement guys arent used to the speed of the game or the size of the players. Not to mention the different rules. You can tell they are struggling they have about 4-5 times a game where they stand around talking about a call for 5 minutes
