Indiana game

I've admitted that he has a problem locking in on Lippett at times, but he's not nearly as bad as you're making him out to be. I'll bet that there are 13 other teams in the conference that wouldn't mind having him.

How am I making him out to be so bad? Over a month ago I said people were crazy projecting him the 1st round and he's proven me right. That's not saying he's bad although he's made more than 1 bad throw today - the screen to Hill for one and he's overthrown a couple more today. He's definitely not terrible but he has a long way to go to be a first rounder.

17-22 for 227, 2 TDs and a terrible pick, yeah, he's got some flaws like every other 21 year old QB in the nation, but he's pretty good too.

His footwork has regressed this year and I wonder if it's because his left knee is bothering him some, just seems like he plants gingerly off from it to me. I also think he uses bad foot work when he wants to take something off the ball.

To me it's obvious the player we miss the most from last year on this defense is Isaiah Lewis. Never missed tackles and was better in coverage than he got credit for. Lewis would have stopped Coleman on all 3 of his long runs inside 10 yards.

Denicos Allen was everywhere last year too...

RIght now Mariota is the only lock to be a 1st rd talent. Winston is a bonehead and probably more than half the teams already have him off their board. If Bryce loses more games after today he'll be labled a "system qb." Cook has his issues with footwork and consistency.

today's motion picture is "ASS RAPING" starring the Alabama Crimson Tide and Texas A&M Aggie score 52-0 beginning of the 3rd

The 1st round talk is a bit much to me as well. But the kid makes enough great plays that I don't get so wrapped up in the ones he doesn't make.

Like as I'm typing this he misses Price on an open route, but follows it up with an amazing play to Lippett for 41. He just doesn't get rattled and I think that some are overlooking that part of his game.

Lippett is one of the top 5 WRs in the nation. His draft status is 100% dependent on his 40 time. Think he is a little slow, but runs a 4.55 and goes in round 3 or 4.

The 40 is so overblown in my opinion. Maybe if they ran it with pads on I'd put more into it. Lippett is just as good as the Alabama reciever (I forget his name) but the guy from West Virginia is very very very good! (Also forget his name)

Agree, he has the tools to be a good NFL player. Hes a fluid receiver and reminds me a bit of Jerry Rice ( I know, im not expecting him to be that good in the future). 6"3 slim, great hands and moves well after the catch, just a fluid player, hes top 5.

Amari Cooper, and Kevin White?

I think you're underestimating his speed. He was a QB in HS and got an offer from us to play WR after Dan Enos saw him run track. He ran a 10.8 100m in HS.

These announcers sure are giving Diamont a lot of love for a guy that has -3 yds passing and -11 yds rushing after 3 qtrs.
