Indians extend Raburn

Raburn finished the season here. He was here all of 2012 (who cares if he only got 66 games). You don't see why the Tigers would not bring him back?

If VMart was hitting .171 on September 10 (last game Raburn played in 2012) and he was to become a FA then yeah I'd want him gone.

Make sense now or do you have some other nonsense about why him and Victor are the same.

First off I never said him and Victor were the same. If there is any nonsense, it's you making up shit out of thin air.

I also never said the Tigers should have brought him back, just that your reasoning does not hold water. The real reason he was released was because we had an overcrowded outfield (Jackson, Boesch, Dirks, Garcia, Berry, Castellanos) so he was not needed, and we also wanted to put Rondon on the 40 man roster, which left Raburn the odd man out considering his salary.

And the fact he hit .171. The guy was awful. If you really think it was an over crowded OF, we had BB and he was turrible. Add in even worse defense by BB.

Read the last 3 words in my previous post.

I'm too tired. So we disagree, not the end of the world.

Raburn has 33 XBH in 202 AB, XBH per 6.12 AB,
among players with at least 20 XBH only Chris Davis is better, XBH per 5.89 AB.
#Shinebox is a career .296 hitter vs. the White Sox (17 HRs, 17-2Bs, 66 RBI), Ryan Raburn has HR, 2B, 5 RBI tonight, as Indians lead CWS, 14-2.
