All you need to know is this: in the nine games against the Indians this season, the Tigers have been outscored by a three-to-one margin (60-20), are hitting just .194 with 14 extra-base hits and have struck out 71 times, all while Cleveland is hitting north of .300 with a slugging percentage that's over .500
Detroit is 12-16 against the AL Central this season but 2-14 against the two teams - Indians, Royals - ahead of them.

Thankfully I was on a golf trip this past weekend and didn't have to see that beat down. Back to .500 which is right about where I thought this team would be. We almost need one of two things to happen...a miracle turn around by the entire pitching staff and win 18-22 games or for them to hit a huge skid to take them totally out of the playoff race so they can attempt to clean house again. The team as is....they aren't good enough to compete.
