Inge on DL -- Worth, Clete, Dirks make team.
Brandon Inge has been placed on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to March 30 with a left groin strain.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Not good when a team like the Tigers base roster decisions on personal emotions.

Bob Isray (Indy Colts owner)

Hopefully by the time we need Smyly to start, Thomas and Inge will be off the team leaving only the WORTHy (lol bad pun)

Of course he was DL bound but this isn't a bad thing. He's not playing so you have time to figure out what to do. Certainly not unexpected

No Balls Executive team.

Jim Isray

I hope Brandon gets booed loudly when he steps to the plate in his first at-bat at Comerica Park.

It sure would help if everyone seated behind the Tigers dugout goes to the concession stands or bathroom just prior. That's the section where the biggest homers sit. It's so bad there - even opera-singing hot dog vendors (Charlie) get standing ovations.

I know I am in the minority but I wanted Santiago to play 2B most of the time, put Raburn in LF and have DY DH.

I'm sure that will happen at times. But it's not a permanent solution. Santiago will spell all the IF positions not fielded by Fielder.

If Inge gets the at bats against LHP, like I hear, where is he getting them from? DY and Raburn are both RH and are above the food chain. Does that put DY at DH and Raburn in LF on those days so Inge plays 2nd?

All Raburn has to do is rake from the first day and Inge is done.

All Raburn has to do is rake from the first day and Inge is done.

Since his last homerun March 20th?.....Raburn is something like 3 for 30.
Did the temperature in Lakeland and Florida drop to 40 degress the last couple of weeks?

All Raburn has to do is rake from the first day and Inge is done.

Like I said above that might just mean Raburn foes to left and DY at DH. Just because I think Leyland puts Inge ahead of Kelly, Worth etc.

I don't understand keeping Clete Thomas. Dirks seems like a better option for the "left handed outfielder" spot. I would rather they keep another reliever instead of Clete.

I think we all knew Inge had one more life left, may as well get on with what should be a great season of baseball.
