Institutional failure

Why would anyone care? Brady and Manning aren't better because they have a better perception.

The Lions not winning aren't because they smile after a loss..would it make you feel better if they looked upset after a loss and then proceeded to lose the next week.? A loss is still a loss..

The Lions problems are stupid drafts, and shitty plays, and mental mistakes..

What you say is all true but how do you fail to see how laughing after a loss in a game your team should have won is just flat out wrong... lets just move one... none of us are say they lost because they were smiling after the loss... Mitch it just does not look good coming from a organization that has been losing way more then it should since 1963..

Time to move on and agree to disagree... Some us don't care that they were smiling after a loss and some us were perplexed by it.. And your Tiger analogy holds no water... If the Lions were runners up in the Super Bowl they could yuck it up all they want...

You have to realize that a lot of the players are friends regardless of team. So it's quite common for players to laugh and smile with each other post-game. Just because they're smiling for the moment doesn't mean they're not pissed off about the loss. We're not in their heads, we're not in the locker room...so it's impossible to draw a conclusion.

I don't know about you, but it probably looks a bit childish to your co-workers to pout and storm off the field after a loss.

I think looking pissed and pouting are two different moods.. All Lion's should be pissed after that debacle in the dessert.. But you are right Grandy players have many friends all over the league.. Might as well be happy...It is so frustrating being a Lion fan.. Year after year of lower expectations then some other franchise.. Some which bottom out and still make it back before the Lions... Who knows maybe we will win at Washington this week..

Oh listening to Lomas Brown on the huge show they addressed the smiling after a loss and he said it was just this generation of players. When he played he said it was unacceptable, and one game when he and other players we yucking it up after a game Chris Spielman came over and put them in their place..

Because there are too many more important things than a football game..that's why I forget it as soon as the games over. It's a freakin' game..so if you want to be upset or perplexed, cool - that's your prerogative. I don't get bothered by it.
