Interesting Information

Hunter in for Delmon and we basically get a free Vmart since we didn't have him last season. And a full season of Infante over Raburn/Inge. Looking forward to the season..

Our lineup strikes me as more steady and reliable from game to game. I could definitely see theirs going on a rampage for weeks at a time though.

Oh I agree I am not saying they arent good because they are. I am glad they are in a different division. We should win the Central. Granted I thought we would coast to the title last year and we made it interesting. But we are a better team this year than last.

We should be way better than last year. Full years from Sanchez and Infante instead of Porcello and the AAA 2B du jour, Hunter and VMart essentially replacing Boesch and DY, and the offseason still isn't over. I'd love to see us upgrade significantly at LF or SS, or potentially add a closer. Some of that could get done before the trade deadline too if we wanted to wait and see on Rondon/Dirks/Peralta. We look really solid on paper, but we still gotta play the games.

Tigers need to remain mostly injury-free next season. The ballclub is pretty shallow in the IF and maybe SP, if they trade Porcello. Isn't Bondo trying to make a comeback?...heh. I seem to remember that they re-acquired Zach Miner awhile back and he is in the minors too? Err...whoops they did, but released him early last month and the Phillies snatched him up a couple of weeks ago.

Staying injury free can be said for any team. If the angels get hit with injuries they will suffer. Same with Giants, Dodgers, Jays and so on.
