Is Jim Harbaugh trying to get back to the NFL?

Come on down, Jim. As a life long Browns fan, I'd love to see Jim stalking the CLE sidelines. Don't see it happening though. I expect that Jim will end his career at Michigan. And good for him if he does.

I agree with you on this one.

While all of these so-called experts are aware that Harbaugh went to and played football for the University of Michigan, they seem to be unaware that Ann Arbor is the town where are Harbaugh considers he grew up.

That is the deep emotional attachment that anybody who didn?t grow up there could ever understand.

Although I ain?t ever fucking going back.

Here in Hollywood, I walk around all winter long in shorts and a T-shirt.

But Harbaugh is tougher than me.

I guess when I retire, I think about living in Ann Arbor and leaving after the Ohio State Michigan game and coming back to Southern California, then going back to Ann Arbor in the late spring.

But a head coach at Michigan would never be able to do that.

I sctually thinkhe is gine next year. And uf he diesnt win bowl game there may be some pressure and talk

Who knows what drives guys like Harbaugh. If I had his kind of money I would quit coaching today and never look back. I'd have a nice house on a lake in northern MI and a place in FL for the winter. It must be the attention or the competition. My guess, they like attention/fame.

Is this the Chris Carter bs?

Tinsel? You're never coming back to AA? Not even to visit?

Funny how Cris Carter, the most arrogant person in the universe, never once to my knowledge even intimated at the possibility that Urban Meyer was going to leave Ohio State after this season. Carter must lack the "sources" at OSU that could inform him. Wait: Apparently Carter was "afraid that Urban would die on the sidelines" and somehow never thought that this specific insight of his was not newsworthy during the season.

Of course I?ll be back.

You saw that I continued to say that my dream life in retirement would be to live in Ann Arbor and escape back to Southern California for the winters, where I could walk around in a T-shirt and shorts as I currently do, and not look like an idiot like Brady Hoke at spring football practice.

OK, well, you said that you're never going back

Warde Manual responded to this rumor, "Consider the source..."

It was tongue in cheek, and I amended it in the same post.

Every indication is that Michigan was an emotional choice for Harbaugh, really the only place where his heart would be.

I don?t think the so-called experts get that.

Carter is just trying to save a few recruits from possiblely leaving Osu because Meyer is leaving. I think Carter does this every season it feels like. Like Byco said where was his inside guys on Meyer leaving? Anyway Detroit News has a artical and Michigan AD Manuel says he is not leaving for the NFL.

I found Carter's source.

This is all Cris Carter. Every bit of it to keep an advantage in recruiting over Michigan. We stole recruits from them the year Tressel got canned, 2 5* kids from Ohio, Kyle Kalis and Dymonte Thomas. Im pretty sure they remember.

I don't put any stock into what either of these guys are saying (Carter or Manuel)

What do you expect the AD of UM to say when asked if there is any truth to Harbaugh to the NFL rumors?

The right answer is the one he gave.

The honest answer is this one.

Yes, JH could be looking at the NFL, but I have no knowledge that he is. He has coached in the NLF in the past with great success, more than he has had at UM, so it could be a possibility. But I think he is happy here and I don't expect him to leave. He has some unfinished business here...like winning a Big 10 championship and beating OSU. We look forward to him being our coach for years to come.

In the FOX pregame show before ohio state he said - quote "to coach and serve at the pleasure of the AD and U President for the next 20yrs would be...."

I don't see any reason - other than clickbait/speculation - for any speculation that he'd be leaving. All he has ever said is the opposite. None of what Ian Rapoport or Adam Schefter said when left the 49ers turned out true ..

..that Sarah is a "bay area woman" and would NEVER move to A2
..that the worst NFL job is somehow better than being the HC at MICHIGAN
..that he is too competitive to stay in college because the SuperBowl is the end-all-be-all

It's all garbage and bullshit trolling, IMO

oh yea...they have nothing else to talk about. Today it was Lincoln Riely going to coach GB or the Browns.

There is no way in hell anyone would move from Ann Arbor to the frozen tundra, let alone the mistake by the lake. No way! GTFOH with that crap.

Id assume whether Harbaugh stays here or not is dependant on if he wants to continue the recruiting grind. Dude is staying at peoples houses....dude is having entire families stay at his house (probably a violation lol). BArbeques, foreign countries, scouring SEC country...you dont have to do any of that crap when youre in the nfl. If he enjoys all that i think he stays at Michigan...but once hes over it im sure he will want to hop back into the NFL.

From everything I’ve heard or read, the life of an NFL head coach is also grueling.

Here is something I found on the Internet about Brother John.

I would imagine NFL head coaches put in a lot of hours in the off-season too, even if they’re doing other things than recruiting. Do they work as hard as a college coach? I don’t know.

We all know assistant coaches and scouts aid in recruiting, and there are probably additional networks also.

For example in a different sport, softball, Hutch has built a powerful recruiting network here in talent rich Southern California of former players and their parents. I would imagine it’s the same with the more marquee sports as well.
