Is Monday the day?

Have fun all that are going to the game! Make a detroitsportsforum sign! Lol

LMAO That would be sweet! Putting a screen name to it and I'd be going "OH SHIT!!!! THAT'S BOOGER/TONY/HUGHES/BIGGUNS/CML (etc)?!?!?!?!?

Haha we should all try and go to a game together sometime. I think it would be cool to bitch with you guys in person.

Hughes: Fuck staff....how the hell did you sail that one sidearm over megatrons head!

LKP: wind picked up.

Cheeno: *slaps LKP* WERE IN A DOME!

LKP: it was just bad luck the mauntenace guys turned up the AC at that moment, causing the wind...or maybe it was the simultaneous release of gas by the entire coaching staff...either way, just more bad luck, nothing more.

Haters will likely disagree, but Greenwood did a solid job IMO, and he was targeted often as a potential weakness so he was given a good test. he's still very young, but he was up on the line pressing instead of playing back with a soft cushion most of the time and was usually in solid position. of course some more accurate passing by Manning would have resulted in more catches by the WR Greenwood was covering, but overall i didn't see him blowing coverage. i may have missed a few bad plays by him, but from what i saw i hope they keep him around. good athleticism, size, and speed, decent instincts. more playing time will likely mean he gets even better considering he had a huge learning curve and lots of injuries ahead of him just to even see the field, but he might actually earn a spot on the team next year and not be on the PS anymore.

I agree. I'd like to see him play next week and if he does ok, keep him around for next year.

This thread can now be for Schwartz being fired. Is Monday the day that Schwartz is fired?

He shouldn't even get a chance to coach next week. This team is playing for nothing, why let him coach again? Send a statement now, and start interviewing like the Texans.

next Monday ....win or lose. i had enough of his cowardness

I wish something ballsy would happen from upper mgmt to show this is unacceptable.....like a kiffin at usc type firing where they just fire him after the game and don't let him near the team. But were the lions....so we won't.

Well now they should play to lose. I'd start all backups to give them experience, no reason to have starters risk injury next week. Treat it like pre-preseason game.
