VaTech's OOC schedule: Appalachian State, ECU, Arkansas State, Marshall.

They played 6 teams w/winning records, one of those was FCS App St. 7 if you count Clemson twice.

We also played 6, however, the 6-6 teams we played were a lot better than the ones they played: Ohio State, Illinois, Northwestern, EMU versus Wake Forest & MiamiFl.

I was talking about some of the individual ones, not the poll in general. They also rank MSU as low as 24(!?).

It didn't seem like Kirk was contesting Michigan being in at all. He was more upset about the fact that VT got picked over K State and Boise solely for the money. He didn't direct any of it at UM specifically like he did VT.

yes, but they played a weaker schedule.

I think they're a better team than us, but it's not that much of a disparity, and I think we could beat them at home.

On a neutral field, I'd give them the edge.

Sorry. All out of empathy. From 72-74 M went 30-2-1 and did not go to any bowl game.
