Since the QB and the coordinator are the top two guys that influence weather you score points it really is a shame with our defense they cannot get this figured out.. Our offense is the fifth worse in the NFL in scoring points.. It really is a shame we cannot find a coach that can figure a way to get Matt to the next level.. Even with a bad offensive line we should be scoring more points then this.. IT Baffles me that Lombardi cant figure out the right tempo with Matt and his WEAPONS...

Austin and the defense made in game adjustments and while AZ still moved the ball more then we would have liked the did keep them out of the end zone. where were Lombardi's in game adjustments because what they were doing was not workng...

Stafford has some blame as well. He is playing at the same level as he has his entire career. He is not getting better.

Play calling under Lombardi has been just god awful.. Yesterday it was he worst. But I agree The franchise QB needs to freaking step up.. No wonder Suh wants to leave..

last year the schedule was set up perfect for the playoffs.. Bears and Packers had Injuries to their QB's Yet we failed... Now this year we are in the same spot minus the injuries.. I schedule sets up nice but now we have a complete nincompoop calling the plays on offense... Houston to major Austin please figure out a way to score!!!!!

That play has worked before. FB handoff typically works on short yardage. Bad execution.

Sure it's worked before, when the O-Line got a massive surge. Collins has zero play making ability. If you're going to hand it off, give it to Bell who at least has the ability to break a tackle or cut back if needed. Watching Collins run into someone's but for 3 seconds before falling down is less than ideal.

Just need better execution. Need a blocking surge. 3rd and 1, run up the middle is the correct call.

Like I said, I'm fine with that, just not to Collins. Zero playmaking ability. I'd rather see Stafford sneak before Collins on a hand off.

You realize that hasn't been stopped all year on 3rd and 1 to Collins until that play? I don't think you do. Collins was 4/4 converting 3rd downs within 1-2 yards until this game. And then he got stuffed on the 5th attempt against Arizona. He also had a run on first down for his 6th carry of the year. Right call, right guy, should have worked.
