Apparently, Gary Schultz, one of the two guys JoePa and the GA reported to, one of the two guys accused of perjury, was the head of the University Police Dept.

He might not last the season.

Looks like he may not have the choice to step down.
WOW, JoPa could be gone. Well, not sure what he has done the last couple years anyway. The guy was a great coach, but he has lost it. I think it has just been a publicity thing for PSU to keep him around. Now it could be bad publicity and a hit the road Joe comeing from the Admin.
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Penn State administrators on Tuesday canceled Joe Paterno's weekly news conference in which he was expected to field questions about a sex-abuse scandal involving former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky.
Soon after, The New York Times reported that Penn State's board of trustees has had discussions about how to manage the 84-year-old Paterno's departure. The newspaper, citing "two people briefed on conversations among the university's top officials," said that Paterno's exit could come within days or weeks

Yeah, that GA, reportedly a coach now, should be done. The law may not apply to him, but it should.wheels002 said:I can not understand how the coach who witnessed the assault did nothing. How on earth can you see a 10 year old boy being rapped in a shower and not save that poor child. I promise you this if that were me they would have had to call the police after but only because I would have beaten the hell out of that old man. To just walk out like you didnt see what you saw then not call the police but to just tell JoPa and go to work the next day with the sleaze ball. You have a moral obligation to save that poor child and speak up for him and tell anyone and everyone that will listen. I believe he should be charged with not reporting it to the police. Short of joining in on the act he did the worst thing possible.
That being said I do believe JoPa should step down. Although he didnt do anything criminal he didnt do everything he should have. And although they keep saying well we told him not to bring children to the main campus he still had a parking spot and was on campus last week. Also he was allowed to run football camps for young children on satalite campuses in the area. How many poor children were victimized over and over just because no one stepped in to report what they saw.
