Jesus, Verlander has hung around DD too much with that poker face to the media.

We went from no contract talk this season, to an extension making him the second highest paid player in a matter of weeks.

Money issues aside, I'm glad Verlander has shown his loyalty to the fans and organization of the great Detroit Tigers.

I think he said no talks during the season. Technically its not so it worked out good.

And 5 years is perfect. I thought he might get a 8-9 year extension.
