Kevin Smith in Great Shape

If there is one thing I like about KS it's his attitude. He showed up when called upon last year, until he got hurt(again). If he can use weight training and stuff to stay healthy, i'll take it. He is a solid option.

Yeah at least he's not running around raising cain and being a complete doofus like some folks...

If he stays healthy. Its like saying if Grant Hill was healthy he could have been one of the best.

I won't count on Smith at all. He'll trip over a lace of grass or over complete air and miss most of the season. Have him work on his balance.

I wonder if he gets tackled by the turf during practice?

Solid option? he's a friggin' bandaid.

He's about as solid as a soup sandwich...

Meh. He is the best option we have unless Leshoure can actually play and Best's brain doesn't turn to mush after his first hit.

That's the thing right there.

One, i don't trust Best even a little bit. Yeah, he's a star when he touches the football but it's almot a guarantee he gets hurt.

Two, Leshoures dumb ass is getting at least 2-4 games.

So, that leaves Kevin Smith. A decent backup who will probably end up being our #1 RB for a certain part of the year because of injuries and suspensions. Which is sad because he's no better than a #3 RB on the Lions.

My money is on Leshoure. He comes back from injuries and his suspension, i fully expect him to take over the #1 RB role on this team. I'm obviously predicting Best to go down with another injury. I hope he doesn't but it's practically inevitable...

There is a big story by Twentyman today on Best's concussion problems and how he is looking to get past that. Best was quoted as saying, "I put my pants on all by myself."

Much like Staff had to prove us last year Best has to prove to us now that he can be depended on and if not this is his last year with the Lions and we will move on.
